Does being a JW make a person physically sick?
by Gill indefinitely mentally and more than likely physically.. i have read on a few posts and freeminds about an increase of mental illness amoungst jws of between 2 and 40 % and it seems understandable considering the amount of stress being in the borg puts on people.. but what about physically?.
what are your experiences since leaving the borg?.
do you feel well and fitter than ever before?.

I hope you've already severed ties to any previous family. 5 meetings a week and throw out that television because there won't be time to watch with all the personal study you'll need to do...and before you know it your little wifey will pioneer and hey wait a minute...why aren't you reaching out for Ministerial Servant...and then ELDERHOOD. Kudo's to everyone. I think we have more power than we sometimes give ourselves credit for. Afterall we are a GROWING force, unlike a certain cult we know. I too hope they actually present a more balanced view of the WTBS in their production. If someone gets thru to one of the producers, please let us know.

FYI...when you go to there info website, there are contact emails and phone numbers. Me thinks it might be time to have a mass emailing and phoning. ITVS is funding this one-sided abortion of a film so I think they should be yelled at too. Local PBS stations should be contacted and even picketed when they broadcast it. When they are picketed, the other local news media will cover it. It seems very strange at a time when the WTBS is sucking wind that this obvious PR/Promo film for their cult is being released.
We might be able to take the wind from their sails if we can use the opportunity to anti-witness about their terrific background of child molestation cover-up, killling kids via blood refusal and soooo much more. They're going to mention their Nazi stand. What a great time to quote their former Pres Rutherfart and what he said about the Jews in their own publications.
They talk about special screenings around the country. What a great time for some Lambs and supporters to show up with signs. We might even be able to get help from some of the local churches who don't care for their cult-prosletizing...I don't know...I'm just spitballing here. I think we HAVE to do something to counter this bullshit film! How 'bout some other ideas?

Watchtower play on words
by Jahna ini was looking at the aug 1, 2004 watchtower which discusses government, and on page 6 it basically states that the jw?s provides volunteer relief during times of disaster.
it points to earth quakes in el salvador in 2001 where the world wide brother hood sent not only relief but the jw?s built/repaired over 500 homes and 3 (here is the key phrase) houses of worship.
ok sounds great right, how noble a gesture.
