Yes Gilberto it is true. Something very similar happened to me. It so happened that I had an extra Mercedes (it was a 4-door sedan) and I had no use for it. So I advertised it and said I would "give it to the first JW who called me"...and whaddya know? The Very First call I got was from a JW. Had to take the ad outa the paper quick because I got thousands of brothers and sisters calling me. Just very sad 'cause I only had one car to give.

the old testament, is talking about a angry, vengeful and wrathful god.

A Chance to Wreck The Society.....

if it's true that the society is starting a special campaign against "false religion", we may have them at our mercy!!!!!!!!!.

think about it: if they are stupid enough to print some cheap tract that shows churches and 'stars of david' as 'false religion', we may.

be able to cause enormous trouble by sending these to all public agencies dealing with intolerance and prejudice.. more than that, by posing as witnesses, these tracts may be sent to various people and groups with accompanying letters.

A couple of years ago when I had more time to get my apostate hours in I had great success with a couple of things...

It was right after the child molestation charges hit the fan. I made up posters that headlined..."Child Molestors in your Neighborhood?". I quoted the Newsweek article, Dateline, etc and gave out the Silent Lambs website. I posted it on all the bulletin boards and lampposts around. I also went directly to many churches and talked with the pastors. All of them agreed to post it on their church bulletin boards. Lets face it, if the church-goers are informed when the Dubbies come to their doors, fireworks could happen, Also, posting it on church bulletin boards reaches hundreds/thousands of folks...and these churchgoers for the most part are happy where they're at and will pull no punches in relaying that to the Dubbies.

The best thing that happened was, Sister Hardly-Ever-Attends-Meetings saw one of my posters and decided she would defend the Society by writing a letter to the editor and calling the poster "full of lies". Oh Boy! That gave me the opportunity to write a letter to the editor to cement my facts and further make the Dubbies look stupid. It was great. I even called the elders out to defend themselves, to which there was nary a peep. I'm sure poor, good-hearted Sister Hardly-Ever-Attends-Meetings got a good talking to and was told to keep her trap shut, as the elders would do the defending if need be. Someday I'll post all the letters, etc when I can figure out how to do it.

In closing, I think I might take one of their "False Religion" brochures around to the churches so they can warn their followers of these nut-cases coming to their doors.
