  well, i posted a topic a couple of weeks ago, and i promised that i would give an update if there was one.

  John" was telling me about different girls he had slept with, girls who are pioneers and have never been disciplined by the elders. "John" was telling me about elders who he regularly gets drunk with and who tell him that they hate going to meetings and wish they could stop. "John" was telling me about skinny dipping parties he went to with ministerial servants and pioneers

  You should say that these things he told you stumbled you. It was as if he was watering your seeds of doubt. That ought to cause them to feel guilty.

  ..."when donations are earmarked specifically for a certain disasters, it is necessary in some countries to use such funds only for the purpose specified by the donor and within a certain period of time, whether the needs of out brothers have been cared for locally or not.

  (is this true and if so, isn't that the whole point of donating to natural disaster victims?

  For thirty three years we walked the same path...and now he's gone.

  my little friend, is gone.

  for thirty three years we walked, he flew actually and then when too old, he walked, but we walked the same path.

  yesterday morning i found he had died in the night and now....well, now all the sadness is here.

  While You Were A JW, What Things Struck You To Raise Your Eyebrows?

  i'll never forget the time the circuit and district overseers told the elders that from now on the elders would be solely responsible for all judicial matters and that if anyone was going to get sued, it was not going to be the society.

  at that point, the 2 overseers laughed outloud.

  i knew we were going to get screwed for sure because the watchtower society was already setting us up.

  Back to the oral sex thing. What I couldn't understand was when they said it was a homosexual act. If homosexuals did it then you shouldn't do it. Homosexuals kiss don't they? Does that mean married person shouldn't kiss?

  My first eyebrow was raised at the tender age of 5. My brother was recently disfellowshipped. I LOVED my brother. I wasn't daddy's little girl I was my brother's little girl (he is a lot older than me). Well the PO was at my house telling my I was going to die at amargeddon if I didn't stop talking to my brother (the year was 1975). Who in their right mind tells a 5 yr old girl she is going to die for talking to someone she loves more than her mother or father. What crack was he smoking?!?! I think his crack was called Jim Beam. He was a grade A ass*&^%!!!

  i posted this under friends first but may be more appropriate here.....

  i visited my sister recently (she is not a jw and was never baptized but is very close to my mother and brothers) and she was telling me that they are no longer dfing people.

  i told her i heard that too, but that they now announce people as no longer being jw which effectively means the same thing.
