probably for the same reason they don't want its members to read their book "mankind's search for god".
they went to the trouble of researching and publishing this attractive well illustrated book.
Why is it not wrong to examine other faiths? What factors usually determine a person’s religion? Why is it not reasonable to assume that the religion of one’s birth is automatically approved by God? What benefits are there in examining other religions?

i was talking to a female aquaintance the other day and in one breath she was telling me that it's great when she goes out salsa dancing because apart from enjoying the music she never has to buy her own drink as there is a constant stream of guys buying for her and then in another breath she was complaining that they annoy her because they are just after a bit of arse.
now i've seen the way this girl dresses on a normal day i can't imagine what she puts on when she goes out.

I was 5 when I was told by the PO that I had better stop talking to my 17 year old DF'd brother of I was going to die at armageddon. This was in 1975 so I guess the rush was on.

truthseeker just posted about the wt congregations discouraging large social gathering or parties.. in the last little while my wife has gone to a few "book study parties" and has commented that other book studies were doing the same.. it seemed a little strange to me that this was happening as most of her congregation seems cold and distant at the best of times.. i wonder if it is a new "program" started by the wt to hype up the old "brotherly love" thing.has anybody heard or seen this to be happening lately if you are still close enough to know?
My parents had even in the congo over to there house. Not all at one time by invited them over by bookstudy groups on different occasions. that was 25 years ago.
