Have many here actually whole heartedly set their minds to the idea of evolution and ended the turmoil of wondering what to believe? Myself I have not accepted Evolution but nor ruled it out, I still feel somewhat uncertain. I would feel it hard to solidly accept one or the other. I like the prospect Christ offers though and definatly has more apeal then the evolutionist outcome and finallity.

someone with more 'tech' knowledge needs to answer this for us.. the wt has current control of the quotes.watchtower.ca website.
if they put something on it to forward requests to view to the 'real' wt site can they look at and trace back ip addresses to us.. if it is yes then the next thing we will see is the lawyers sending lawsuits to isp's thru-out the country wanting the names of those individuals.. or am i really paranoid on this one.. let them come after me i really don't care at this point in time.
but i would rather have this happen on my timeline and not theirs.
I wouldn't worry I dont think the Watchtower is going to bother going after ones who view such web sites. They won't win this war on the net though, they are far outnumbers and are foolish to underestimate the power it has.

i wonder if this is the way they want to "handle" the internet problem.
They will try but they won't every stop the accessible amount of information about what the Witnesses withhold from their membership and oustsiders. Most people are not afraid of the net and their warnings must seem a little bit petty to most rank and file, but pherhaps it may have some impact upon the hardliners and computer illiterate. No doubt the Society is attempting to further demonize in the memberships minds the many debate forums and sites critiquing their beliefs found on the web.

how about every lurker on here and all others spreading the news that unhappy jw's worldwide are to do a general boycott of all jw related activities (meetings, fs, etc) in for the entire month of february 2006. would be interesting to see what happens to the us average publishers for that month... come on just be irregular for one month!.
They may try padding the numbers to try and hide any downward spike in the numbers. Will have to watch and see if the numbers drop.

You will find that the Watchtower authors are very good at drawing beyond what is represented in the scriptures. A common trademark of theirs is the use of buzz words and then adding their own take of what the bible is saying even if their are complete gaps in scripture. Instead of leaving it up to personal conscience, they take the liberty of telling the membership what the bible left out. Yours is one such example.
