we have ordered vaccines but we are low down on the list for vaccines in europe because our government placed the order late.
I dont know if its a Matthew 24 fullfillment as this has happened down throughout history. Thats all we need is some fanatics like the JW's to spout the end of the world fullfillment. Its a part of our history and will continue to be one, whether this marks the end or not is not upto us to decide but lies in God's hands.

I wouldn't call it mild Gill. Out of 118 human transmitted cases the WHO reports a death count of 61. Thats over 50% death rate, a little more then a mild flu I would think. Lets face it were due for one and its going to come sooner or later. Of course people have to carry on and can't panic but the experts know its coming.

I know they have found one British parrot carrying the deadly H5N1 strain, the parrot is deceased though and they are conducting tests on it. The parrot originated from South America and was imported into Britian.
I think its due time for a epidemic anyway, not that its a good thing but we are overdue for the next big killer flu. It will probably come soon and people are going to die thats what has always occured throughout history, a natural cycle of life, death, and survival.

Yes I totally agree this war in Iraq was fought for the wrong reasons. Too many innocent people have given their lives in the face of the Bush administrations lies and deciet. I encourage everyone to watch "Farenheight 911" in which thier underhandeness is all exposed. Its not the soldiers fault for being their its the corruption in the government that leads them.

If anyone in our house starting fighting, had questions about "the truth", didn't want to go to a meeting or out in service, was caught kissing a boy, bascially ANYTHING deemed wrong or sinful, my mother would start to quiz everyone about what they had brought into the house. Everything used or given to us by someone else was immediately thrown in the garbage as it 'clearly was demonized'.
I got JW neighbours like this. Everytime they get scared they have a big bonfire, personally I think they fabricate their own fears and build on them due to self induced JW indoctrinated paranoia. I think everyone makes their own demons and some just go a step farther with it. Im sure they have better things to do then possese or torture a JW.

i was thinking about the kingdom songs we sang as jw's and was wondering about you posters out there that are ex-jw's or still jw's what was you all time favorite "kingdom song" or what was you all time horrible song that we sang from both songbooks (1966 songbook or the later songbook made in 1984 sing praises to jehovah.
my favorite song was song #119 in the 1966 songbook "keep your eyes on the prize".
i like this song because it made me feel that armaggeddon was coming fast and the "new system" would be here to give me the prize.
I like "Israels Son", oh shit thats right thats Silverchair not kingdom melodies.
I don't like any of them, their all wanna be classical compositions. The only one that sticks out in my mind is "Keep your Eyes on the Prize", because my Grandma made me memorize the whole song and repeatedly sing it when I was young.
Their songs are so repetitive and they really need to jazz them up, but their so paranoid about music they probably never will.

No individual or even several GB members have the power to change the WTS which is an entity with a personality and presence larger than the sum total of the GB members. You could switch out ever GB member and the problems in the WTS would remain.
At least not till someone in that positions gets some balls and leaks the truth to the rank and file.

But todays GB? Just a bunch of "company" men, towing the party line. There really hasnt been anything new on the theological front for decades now and the policies have beenstagnant since Franz, with the exception of allowing certain "blood fractions"....Todays GB, just overseeing the WTS running on automatic pilot.
They have to remain stagnant or risk losing millions to disillusionment when they have to scrap more time trapped doctrines. They will hang on with same old theology as long as they can before imploding in on themselves. They have to bite the bullet eventually though.
