  and anyone pronouncing the righteous one wicked-even both of them are something detestble to jehovah, says proverbs 17:15. amid a world that is becoming entrenched in its opposition to god, it would be wise for us to look at our own attitude and values.

  periodically, we should examine ourselves to make sure we are not gradually drifting away from jehovahs thinking and standards.

  we might for example ask ourselves: have i become more tolerant of practices that god condemns?

  I don't think anything of what anyone but myself is doing.To be as stupid as to think my opinion of someones lifestyle matters is arrogant and judgemental.I'll leave that to death itself.See you in hell.

  eating disorders in JWs

  what would the jehovah's witnesses have to say about eating disorders?

  presumably any kind of mental illness is frowned upon and put down to weakness of the spirit.....i know when i was in it, one sister was severely chastised for having depression....she was told to have more faith in jehovah and presumably when she did, her husband would stop beating her and sexually abusing their kids which was understandably the source of her depression!

  I have 3 sisters and a brother.My older sister had {still has?]an eating disorder.I have seen her really thin.I am the second oldest.As much as I am ashamed to admit it,I am a binge eater and drinker.I eat to the point of being uncomfortable.I also sneak eat and lie about eating.I have done this for as long as I can remember.My younger brother is exactly like me.Now my 2 youngest sisters have grown up in a much more liberal JW envirement.Neither of them have eating disorders ,and both seem pretty stable.My point being,as soon as fanatical actions and mental abuse somewhat stopped,the younger siblings don't have these problems.I definetly corolate religous fanatisism with mental and emotional problems--including eating disorders.Food became a focal piont and a reward in my witness life.Along with a compulsive problems too begin with,the org didn't do me any favors in this department.I am a freek

  I just googled "prophecy definition".They can't with a straight face deny what prophecy means.It means predicting future events.They use one lame brain bible translation and think they can change the very meaning of a word!!NUTS

  It made me sick reading that full awake quote,just something sick about it.The part that judges the whole catholic fake as "mostly just traditions".What a sweeping state ment of judgement and ignorance.Then the staement"they are assisted by millions of part time workers .Any of these would help you discern the "signs of the times".SICK!!!!!!!!!!!!

  also recall how good these steam cooked meals tasted - and how policemen, assigned to.
