  Arrogance Beyond Belief

  all down through history, men and women have stepped forward and proclaimed that they clearly understand bible prophecy.

  they've all been wrong.

  that's supreme arrogance.. but in the last one hundred years, men of the watchtower have stepped forward and proclaimed that they not only clearly understand bible prophecy, but that they themselves clearly are bible prophecy being unfolded.. they are the latter day fulfillment of noah, abraham, moses, elijah, elisha, ruth, esther, naomi, isaiah, jeremiah, ezekiel, nahum, zephaniah, habukkuk, zechariah, john the baptist, the apostle john and the good parts of the revelation.

  Also, one of their favorite scriptures is about the faithful and unfaithful (EVIL) slave. Of course they don't seem to recognize, that it is the unfaithful (Evil) slave, that is always trying to figure out just exactly when the Master will return.

  The faithful slave is busy doing the Masters work and doesn't have time to worry about when the Master will return, that slave just keeps busy doing what he/she is supposed to do.

  So, given the history of the WT ALWAYS trying to figure out when the Master will return, I think they also qualify as the EVIL SLAVE.

  after the battlefield that the last thread on this subject turned into, i'm almost afraid to post this, but it would be nice to see how many of you i might expect to see this weekend.. wnfj is the original ex-jw convention; this weekend (oct. 18-20) will be the 24th year.it is definitely christian in orientation, and features, music, prayer and talks on a variety of topics relating to jw's and biblical christianity.

  Need help finding a book

  i'm looking for a book, i can't remember what it's called, but i have the old one called "aid to bible understanding" (a big, blue, hardcover book).

  i think the current one is a set of two books, dark brown or black if i remember right.

  i had studied with jw's for a time but i just don't believe in the org.
