That's pretty cool! Although, as a Canadian, I think our wilderness is the most beautiful one there is. I'm less than an hours drive from being in the middle of nowhere, but still living in a major Canadian city.

Baptize 'em young, keep 'em outta Sports - My notes from the last assembly
by jgnat ini had heard of accounts of young baptisms, but i figured it was the exception rather than the rule.
now i wonder, after viewing the models of youth paraded at the last assembly.
i took note of the ages and age of baptism of the five young men (no girls this time) who were interviewed as models of jw youth at this last week's assembly.

He has a Return Visit lined up with his grade four teacher.
I can't believe the WT encourage children harrasing their teachers when they only listen to them to be nice.

The Best Response To Memorial Invites?
by dawn27 inthey will not give up!!
i live a ways away from my old congregation and i work with a couple of active witnesses who know i'm inactive.
so, i've been bombarded with phone calls and asked by my co-workers to go to the memorial.

Novels set in Canada
by Crumpet ini am going to canada in may for a holiday and want to take some books to read.
i really like to read fiction that is set in the place i'm visiting and i'd also be quite keen to start getting in the mood before i go.
so i was wondering if there are keen readers out there who could point me in the direction of any great canadian novels - particularly anything set around the great lakes - superior, hudson, ontario, michigan, erie....any suggestions very welcome!
