My children, my loved ones. Perhaps freedom. I would like to think I would have so many causes to risk my life over..but right now, I think I maybe this is the few things I could preplanned risk it all over. Anything else would have to be an instantanious thing.....example, a child being hurt.

WHAT was the nicest compliment anybody ever paid you? What did they say?
by Terry inwhen i was about 16 i had a terrible crush on an older lady (she might have been 30) who was the lovliest person ever.
she had poise, confidence, intelligence, wit, appreciation and culture.
i was just a skinny, shy, geeky kid that she took under her wing.

Someone once said they wish they could see the world through my eyes.
The person who taught me photography...what little I know, admitted to me that I had surpassed him. That felt so good.
My friend in Mexico told me that all I see became everything to me. I think something was lost in the translation, but she was crying so I think it meant a lot....
My friend who was dying told me I was the smartest and truest person he knew. That I had the answer very early on and that he wished he had lived his life the way I had and still did. "Dont loose your heart!" he said..
My Gammie told me before she died that she loved me and that God had given her the best of her daughters, I thought that was wonderful seeing I was only a stray mutt she took in.

Family tragedy.........HappyDad
by HappyDad ingot a phone call from my daughter who lives in florida a couple of hours ago.
her significant other who i chose to call my son-in-law (because he is the best thing to ever happen to her) got a phone call that his 6 year old daughter was killed in an auto accident near lake placid, florida and his 5 year old son is in very critical condition.
the ex wife is also critical.

I am so very sad for your family today. I know most of what I can say may be of no comfort right now, Just keep in mind there are a lot of people here thinking of you right now, and you are in some of the prayers and all of the best of thoughts and wishes. Hold tight and may there be a bit of comfort from us to you.

Revelation of self
by Sparkplug ini noticed via a friend with no reserve that i have come across harshly to some women.
not as harsh as it would be noticeable to someone on an internet board who does not know me could notice, but....to those who know me outside of the board, i have spoken as sharply as i can get at times.
