  Were The Sisters Submissives or "Jezebels" In Your Hall?

  in my experiences, i saw many women that really took a back seat to anything a "brother" had to say.

  i was always amazed as to how some sisters were sooooooooooooo submissive!

  they really stood out from the "jezebel" types.. if you were a "sister", how were you treated and how did you respond?.

  A young, know it all sister who was always answering, was commenting on the dangers of disco music and then said "there are even disco gas stations!"

  She was referring to a local gas station called "disco" which of course meant "discount!"

  I, too went to a congo with a Sister Payne and I remember we had a particular elder who would occasionally say stupid things from the platform. I am pretty sure he called on her and said Sister Payne in the rear!

  Same elder mispronounced a sister's name--Her last name was Muka and he called her Sister Mucus!

  Same elder conducted the WT study and out of the blue turned to the brother that was reading and commented that he had a nice suit! Very weird!

  Anybody attend their Senior Prom as a JW? Wha' happen?

  My mom said I could go- BUT- I had to ask a particular brother at our hall. Not so bad--I kinda liked him and he was cute! He was older than me and went to a different high school. I asked--he said he would think about it. A few days later he said he didn't want to go

  So, I had a dress and no date. I wore the dress for graduation!

  mine is a hamburger cooked medium well with fresh home grown tomato, lettuce, purple onion, mustard and mayo...no ketchup...kosher pickle on the side.. the bun must be toasted and preferably either sesame seed or poppy seed.

  I need some serious informational help from EVERYONE!

  i am new here and i joined honestly to collect information to understand something a little better.

  my boyfriend, well-now kinda boyfriend (were at a weird place) is a jehovah's witness and i am not.

  he waited a little "far" into our relationship to tell me he was, which created a mess, honestly an emotional dyfunctional mess.
