it's the type of highly-desirable family home that is well beyond the reach of many middle-class professionals.

i knew a certain few elders that really got off by "talking down" to the "flock".
many elders were pretty nice guys but a few could turn----just like that!
what was your experience with "those taking the lead", the "loving shepherds"???
One time we had elders come over because we were having a fight. I guess we thought it would help. I don't remember the reason for the fight but I do remember that sex came up. I never got any 'cause my husband would rather do it to himself. So one of the elders put the blame on me--that I must not be good enough for my husband! I'm not sure what he based that comment on----his own experience?
i knew of an elder who ran a janitorial business for decades here [surprize] - his primary employees were his kids, ranging in age from 3 or 4 to teenager at various times.
he would bring in the whole family, they would spread out and empty bags, vacuum, and dust.
in a flash they are out and off to the book study or whatever.. he was able to 'witness wipe' several offices after 5 o'clock and before the 7 o'clock meeting times.
There are so many.................
this has always been my opinion, even as a 'loyal' jw!
i thought that elders were idiots.
i have only ever known one who has ever had any real education, a solicitor and he was an arrogant twonk, the rest were a pathetic bunch of bullies who 'appeared' to be loving and kind but were infact out to find out the shit about everyone and cause as much trouble for everyone as possible.
Elders are ordinary men that are given power and the majority of them end up abusing that power.

It's strangely ironic............................................
for me the concept of pitting animals together to fight, maim and rip the flesh off one another is beyond cruel and inhumane.
what do you think of dog fighting at all - does anyone out there condone or enjoy that type of "entertainment"?
football player michael vick in being investigated for dog fighting.
Like it or not, every animal fights, humans included.
Animals don't fight for money!
i remember last year, a lot of blame against the republican congress for doing nothing to stop big oil companies from raising prices.
democrats are in office now, and no one seems to be saying anything.
why are the democrats not being the night and shinning armor about gas prices?.
At this rate I'll have to sell my car to pay the gasoline bill!
