For me the concept of pitting animals together to fight, maim and rip the flesh off one another is beyond cruel and inhumane.
What do you think of dog fighting at all - does anyone out there condone or enjoy that type of "entertainment"?

Disgusting, horrible, revolting - just like boxing.
People who support or bet on dog fights should have to fight the winners.

i doubt boxing or dog fighting would be as popular as it is if all the bettors and supporters had to fight the winners in the ring.

Stupid, violent, ignorant people need pastimes too.

Fight the winner in the ring...fascinating thought.
I don't think I've thought of dog fighting in decades -- the idea that Michael Vick encourages, sponsors, bets, houses, produces this just sickens me. To use his wealth to breed, mistreat, make two dogs desperate enough so they attack and rip at each other - for your pleasure to watch and bet makes me so fucking outraged that I would bust the ass of anyone taking part in this that I could.
You become a little less than human when you do something this inhumane.
Please don't tell me this is wide spread, common or something that dogs have to suffer.

An ugly, cruel activity. People who mistreat animals this way are lacking something in their character.
Human boxing? Not the same thing. If two guys want to square off and see who can whip the other it's their decision.

As long as the animals are properly cared for, I have no problem with it. Like it or not, every animal fights, humans included.

Animals don't fight for money!

Fortunately, the law does have a "problem" with this barbaric practice, and if Mr. Vick is found to have been involved with this activity at his house, I hope he receives the maximum penalty of five years in prison to serve as an example to other subhumans who would engage in this callous and illegal activity.

You're out of touch with reality.
