Does you feel guilty for those you brought into the org?
by ddean3673 indon't really know how i feel about that one.
my brother is in the truth because of what i "taught" him as well as my "example" according to others and him (he doesn't know my official stand yet).
an earlier post opened my eyes a little...i know now i didn't do it alone, and that i was trained to bring in others (one thing that i must say the training really helped me in my career as a sales director, ironically enough).. i was just wondering how other people view this.

How about Quick Build Kingdom Halls?

just dawned on me i haven't seen anything about these.
i remember when several parishes worth (louisiana) of egos all came together to argue through building a hall...then they had to stop them because there were too many "bad elements" and you had to start applying to go.

I received the answer to my question
by JustTickledPink inyesterday i had a conversation which i mentioned on another thread but will detail more here.. i left the jws when i was about 19 and drifted and was df'd 5 years ago.
i'm now 30. my issue always has been and still to this day was the fact that my mother basically disowned me.
that has been an extremely difficult concept/doctrine for me to accept.

Now PRINCE is a presenter with the golden globe awards...
by orbison11 injust was a presenter with the globe awards,,,i just don't get it.
my x was in the entertainment field, and he was so discouraged from doing ,,,well just about everything.
especially the fellowshipping with worldy people..hhmm.

Where do I find others in my area (Raleigh Durham, NC)

the only thing i've been able to find is the meetup.com site, which there is a meetup in early feb. with one person attending so far, have to doubt how great it is if no one is going.... any suggestions?.

Do we have guts to keep UP the flame of truth
by anuva inthis was sad for me , the very moment i opened the site , this thread caused me pain ........... .
watchtower observer site goes down by norm ...... sad i am because this seems to be the defeat of truth , may be momentarily, but it is a setback , before judging jws and wtbts what they claim themselves to be , all innocent people should be given a chance to discover what was the past of the claims.... and that is why io am sad , this balance of information is being snatched away , .
i would like to suggest contribution of necessary money for keeping up the required 1000$ for a month.. i am ready for my part of contribution , knowing it well that what i mean will only be successful if we all like minded people join hands .... pm me if any thing of that sort is arranged for.... god and truth existed much before wtbts was even born .
