Peace pipe: "I might like the "evil astrology" more than the "Knowledge that leads to Everlasting Life"
Oh, I know you would!! Or at least in addition to...
Thx!
B.
p.s. Lilacs!! I just saw the last snippet of your post--now THAT surprises me! Lil' saggy, you! Well, as it relates to the org, you can be very assertive (death to any good lil' witness girl!) other than that, sagges just plain love people--I mean LOVE people. It was probably the worst thing in the world for you to try and "keep separate", little social butterfly, I mean sag that you are! Oh, and to think of all those people; your neighbors, your co-workers, your "worldly" family dying--too much for a poor little sag heart to take.

Oh, and Mommy Dark! I would've taken you for a Scorpio with a name like "dark" (No offense to Scorpios--they're one of my favorite signs).
But now that you tell me you're a Leo, it makes perfect sense (yes, I know it's hind-sight bias--but this is a game)! As being a Leo relates to the Truth. Possibly the only person who hates being told what to do more than an Aquarian, would be a Leo. You would have no problem devoting yourself to a noble cause--you are, after all, noble yourself. But, being served a huge dish of crap and told it's a banquet feast would not sit well with you for long. Oh, and just TRY to squelch a Leo's creativity, and you're in for it!! Can you be a tad prideful? yes. But that's not always a bad thing. You can be extremely brave and mentally very strong.
Love Leos!Bitter Mango, OMGdess :)! On of my best friends in the world shares your birthday, except he's a boy--a very gay boy, but a boy. Sex crazed, yes. Wild? yes. Freaky? No doubt! Never a dull moment with a Scorpio--er, or, so I'm told (I've only heard stories!) lol! You are queen of the night. A fellow water sign, you have the potential to be psychic as hell. Ruled by Pluto. But you can also be sensitive to the nth degree. You must handle a scorpio with care--not because they break easily, because they'll sting the crap out of you if you cross them!!!! hahahaha!!! for ways in which being out of the org relate to scorio-ness--see all of the above! LOL!! I adore scorpios!

Yea!!! *bridgette claps her hands like a little girl*
Well start my armchair, novice analysis of you, Peacepipe. Taurus. As it relates to the organization: You, as I remember were studying, and questioning, but still, the questions did not outweigh your sincere desire to live in a better, more beautiful place on earth. This makes perfect astrological sense. Taureans have a penchant for aesthetic beauty, so just the illustrations of paradise would appeal to you. But more than that, Taureans, like Virgos, like things the way they "should be". They like find a course and stay the course. Once they find it, they can be fiercely, sometimes obstinately loyal to it. You're husband is a lucky guy. Home is probably where your heart is.
Thank you so much!
Love,

Okay, it's a hobbie of mine: astrology and people profiling. Now, I have a hypothesis I want to gather correlational data on. Disclaimer: It's only for FUN, Nathan Natas, Larc, AlanF--all you logical thinkers out there! hahaha...please write in--think of it as just one of those silly "test your love, squeeze the handle" thingees. Okay, my hypothesis is this: I will venture that a vast majority of people who finally couldn't stand the org anymore are: Aquarians (fiercely independant, logical thinkers), Aries (cannot STAND to be told what to do, so unless they were in positions of power, they probably high tailed it) Libras (they love balance, and would find the orgs UN-balanced lifestyle most distasteful). I've probably left some out. Also, sadly, I have to admit that I think Pisces would be the most likely to stay, because of their penchant for abuse and self undoing. I myself am a pisces, so I can say these things. However, lucky for me, I've got an Aquarian moon aspect that kept asking me "what the hell are we doing STILL here? This is bullshit, and you know it, let's go!" So, anyone who's game, please tell me your sign. Please include your date of birth.
thanks!
Love,
B.
I have some guesses:
I think April (aka Tatiana) might be a pisces or scorpio (some kind of water sign)
I think Tina might be a cancer or virgo
I think Nathan Natas is an Aquarian or an Aries (ooh, could be a leo)
I think B-Boyneko is a cancer
I think slipenslide master may be a gemini or sagitarius -

for married people only
by teejay inthere's a running debate i have going with my wife.
i have the opinion that it is very possible for married people to have friends of the opposite sex without the idea of a sexual encounter entering into the picture.
she disagrees, saying that once you're married, the marriage mate should be enough to offer you all you need in the way of companionship, conversation,etc.. let's say you're running an errand at the mall and happen to see someone of the opposite sex that you have known for years (your mate knows/doesn't know them... doesn't matter) and you decide to grab a cup of coffee and have a two-hour chat.

I agree with most of the above posters. Both my husband and I have many friends of the opposite sex. We even do the "coffee/lunch thing now and then." He even took my daughter with him one time when he met a friend for lunch. I don't get jealous, and neither does he. It's a trust thing. Plus we love each other madly. and we do ALOT together, including traveling. But you still need to keep your identity, by still being your own person. It keeps it like dating if you're not up each other's ass all the time.
We just decided BEFORE we got married that we would keep our individuality. I wouldn't have it any other way. If he wants to go play golf with his friends for a whole Saturday--fine by me. If I want to go with my friends to the Sambucca Jazz club for a weekend evening--fine by him. My first husband was so jealous and possessive--it was AWEFUL.
Loving life,

<<Deleting people proves your love?? WTF???>>
Of course it does, silly Stephanus!! Don't you remember anything? Deleting proves love, as does shunning mercilessly, ignoring your children if they leave the organization, oh and not feeling sorry when about 6 billion people die and birds have to eat their rotting stenching corpses.
..all ya need is love...

They're having a helluva time explaining what an apostate is. It's gone from everything from: Someone who doesn't agree with their religion--to one who questions them--to someone who may, from their actions (brace yourselves): BE POSSESSED BY SATAN!!!! (read in loud echo)
Hmmmm.....the fruits of the spirit are, according to the bible, "love, joy, peace, long-suffering, goodness, mildness, kindness, self-control". Now, I possess all of these FAR more than I ever did in the so-called truth. That is, after I got therapy, started meditating daily, and found peace within myself. So, how can I be possessed by the devil and yet, be full of holy spirit?
things that make you go hmmmmmmm...........
*insert chuckle*

someone said: "But interestingly, the Bible does say that both the man and the woman would be stoned, not just the woman.
And it was only engaged or married women who were stoned."mmmm...geee, that IS interesting--kinda puts a "new light" on it all together--NOT!!!!!!!!!!
It was a barbaric concept, IS a barbaric concept--not matter which god you do it, or excuse it in the name of. It is WRONG. period. Thanks (I mean this sincerely) for reminding me why I do not worship OT bible god.Pax,
Bridgette
p.s. go to search engine and type in Amnesty International. You will find many ways to help. Letters and voices DO help.
and Kent, you are so right--no doubt a JW run state would closely resemble this--if NOT WORSE! They probably would not feel the need to even have a mockery of a trial--they would probably just "pray" and draw straws, beleiving as they do that they are OH SO PRIVILEDGED AND DRIVEN BY HOLY SPIRIT. makes me want to vomit. -

How my heart hurts for the child she was, and the crushed little children too many of we were.
I sign off this evening. I will say my "prayers" to Goddess, the loving Mother and friend who embraces us all. I will light a candle and invoke Kelly's spirit to rest (if she's not already) and to light the way to real love for all abused, broken children, especially those in the organization, who have no voices.
Love,
Bridgette
