  Seeking advice on official DA

  for a very long time, i have held off on making my departure from the jw's official (though, i am as far removed from them as i can be) because of my mother.

  i did not want her to feel she must shun me when there would be no one to replace my presence in her life.

  this was for practical reasons as well as well as emotional.

  Judaism to JW back to Judaism anyone?

  i am wondering if there are any who practiced judaism before becoming jws, or even better, went from judaism, to jws, back to judaism.

  i am just curious.

  i always say i do not believe in demons, but i find that perhaps i do.

  not the kind that haunt and lay in wait for bad little, straying jw's to make a false move with a ouji board, or a misthought purchase at a garage sale, but the kind that haunt a childhood, that steal souls--the scarist kind--the human kind.

  i was inspired by farkel's post this morning (btw, farkel's posts are never boring) to write this, and try, once again to exorcise these demons.

  honest question for unbiased bible scholars

  one of my interests is the study of people's belief systems (more from an anthropological standpoint).

  i cannot forget this little girl.. ezekiel 34:12 this is what the sovereign lord says: i am against the shepherds and will hold them accountable for my flock.

  i will remove them from tending the flock so that the shepherds can no longer feed themselves.

  i will rescue my flock from their mouths, and it will no longer be food for them".

  Help!! How can you make a witness tell the truth?

  i'm talking the truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth about their organization---up front, not subtly creeping it in.

  two of them caught me by surprise this morning at my door (nobody here knows me from adam) offering the awake magazine on battered women.

  i was incredulous, having had experience with being a battered woman and a witness all at the same time.

  well, i came in this morning, prepared to write a glib little post regarding my astrological findings.
