we've missed some meetings due to work and thinking it's bs and also one night my husband got drunk n fessed up n had a shepherding call n now the e is coming to see 'how we're doing'.

immediately consult with the BOE and try to get you to face 2 elders to answer it again.

The 'Loyalty Question' is:

"Do you STILL believe that Jehovah is using the faithful slave as His channel?"

Best to tell the elder that you are both depressed.

They don't know how to deal with depression and it scares them off.

so i'm young enough to not remember having hot prepared meals at assemblies, but heard all about it from my parents and the like.

but what i do remember were all of the cold sandwiches and institutional snacks and soda.

remember the food tickets we started to use?

I loved the spiritual banquets provided by the faithful and discreet slave best of all the assembly foods.

I especially liked hearing about how Jesus appointed the faithful and discreet slave to feed me food at the

proper time and then reconstructed the recipes to make them go down easier with the kool-aid.

Another wonderful meal provided by the faithful and discreet slave were the dramas, especially

the ones where all nonJW's were killed off by God because they had rejected His sole channel

on planet earth, the faithful and discreet slave.

i think it's fitting for my very first post to be a thread on jw.net turning myself in to any lurking elders out there on a witch-hunt to cleanse the congregation so that god's choosen ones can "remain in god's love.

Tell him that I said he's got a real winner.

I did the same thing, only in person.

I torched every JW bridge I had crossed in less than 20 minutes with those frauds and that's not counting

the letters to the 'friends' that went out the day before I called the GB a bunch of apostates and soul stealers.

The 'friends' shat their britches when they found out from lil ole me that the WTBTS rode the wild beast for 9

years in secret.

Anyone here been Dfd for 'apostacy'?

just wanna know.

i'm doing the fade but i reckon my big mouth could get me dfd.

i know plenty who've been dfd for fornication/adultery, but never met one dfd for speaking the truth.

I told 2 elders that the Governing Body is apostate and that I never would have anything to do with them again.

I suppose that was why 3 days later they announced from the platform that I had DA'd.

Oh yeah, the bethel heavy did say that I was an apostate after I told them the truth about the Governing Body.

I have a dumb question re: publishing corp...

many of you refer to wts as a rich publishing corp. since the mags they pass out are free i don't understand how they make money from them?

sorry for the dumb question - curious newbie....

Here is how it really works for the Watchtower Society:

1. JW picks up 10 magazines at the kingdom hall & "donates" $1.00 for each magazine which cost

less than $.04 (4 cents) to write, print & distribute.

2. JW places a magazine and recieves a $10.00 "donation" which the JW then "donates" to the

Worldwide Work at the kingdom hall.

3. The Watchtower Society just received $20.00 for 10 magazines that they have less than $.40 (40 cents) invested.

4. The JW still has 9 more opportunities to increase the Watchtower's profit.

5. The Watchtower Society pays no car insurance premiums, gas or salary to the JW.

6. What a neat way to spread the kingdom message, huh.

The trouble is NO ONE, not even JW's really know what message they are spreading.
