Insanity is an incurable mental disease.
the text i used in my analysis, "the truth changes: watchtower july 15, 2013" comes from the "study" edition of that magazine.. it is still available at: http://www.jwstudies.com/the_truth_changes.pdf.
i have now used the text from the "simplified" edition, and it is available at:.

if you are studying with a jehovah's witness there is a .
very valid reason why you should refrain from having anything to .
do with the watchtower society.. .
If you are studying with a Jehovah's Witness there is a
very valid reason why you should refrain from having anything to
do with the Watchtower Society.
The longer you keep your distance from Jehovah's Witnesses, the
fewer false teachings you will need to unlearn should you ever
decide to become baptised as a JW.
Jehovah's Witnesses are forward looking people and are
beside themselves when they receive the latest Watchtower magazine.
To a Jehovah's Witness, it is as fresh as a new roll of toilet
paper.
True Jehovah's Witnesses feel the same way about the latest
Watchtower magazine as these true JW's did:
"Experiencing Jehovah’s Love'
Not all the persons I have known in the organization have maintained their appreciation for the truth. To illustrate this, I want to mention an experience I had while in the pilgrim service. I was in Philadelphia at the time, and, after I had given a talk, an elective elder who claimed to be a brother came up to me and said:“Brother Riemer, I got my Watchtower this morning. The only reason I read that Watchtower is to find out what you fellows in Brooklyn are trying to put over on us.” That was the spirit of some of the elective elders. They were causing splits in the congregations and in the work.
In contrast to the attitude of these elective elders was that of an elderly couple with whom I stayed on the outskirts of Richmond, Virginia. The brother went down to get the mail before breakfast, and when we had breakfast he said,“Brother Riemer, I got a new Watchtower this morning, and do you know the first thing that Ma and I do when we get that Tower? We kneel down before we take the wrapper off and ask Jehovah to make us worthy to see what the message is that Jehovah has for us. Now, before we take the wrapper off, will you kneel down and pray with us?” How different that elective elder was from this humble couple who appreciated Jehovah’s organization!

Several weeks or months later that JW couple had to unlearn the message from Jehovah that was in that Watchtower because it was replaced with new light.
If you are studying with the Jehovah's Witnesses, what you are learning today will soon have to be unlearned because, just as the message from Jehovah in that couple's new Watchtower magazine was as fresh as a new roll of toilet paper it soon became soiled and had to be replaced with a new Watchtower magazine.
The Watchtower magazine you read today does not contain permanent messages, it is just a scratch pad used for temporary storage of preliminary information that all Jehovah's Witnesses will have to unlearn.
i'm about 4 months into my fade- things were going ok at first.
if i didn't get ready to go to the meeting or fs, neither did my family.
recently, hubby has become more sensitive and now will take the family whether i go or not.
Your children will think everything is alright with the religion if you go back.
If you stay away they may investigate the religion on their own.
Children have great BS meters.
That is why JW's have the lowest retention rate of born-ins than any other denomination.
I didn't stop believing in God.
I stopped believing in some false prophets who lied about Him.
has anybody here experienced a bonafide, real, true incident in whicy 'demons' actually interacted with you or did something 'supernatural' that left you convinced beyond a shadow of a doubt that satan and his demons exist??.

The SMURF that stood up during the Service meeting one Thursday night, yelled, "I've heard enuff
of this shit." and ran out the door.

as some of you know, i had no job last year, then finally got something in an industry that i know nothing about.
the environment and people haven't been the best, but i had to stick it out and hope that things would improve.
i have kept my eye and ears open for opportunities more in my field of expertise - which is print advertising.. i sent through my cv for a job i saw advertised in the newspaper for an advertising sales rep - applied and now i have an interview to go too tomorrow.. i've learnt not to get my hopes up - i am glad for the interview and i hope it goes well..
Good Luck!!

a watcher, have you gone to Jesus for salvation?
Or, did you run to the Watchtower Society for your salvation?
here's the thing,.
the whole aawa idea had noble ideas behind it, but the ship has sailed and the movement needs to go back to the drawing board.

AAWA extends an open offer to the Governing Body of the Watch Tower Society (or their representatives) to meet with AAWA to discuss ways in which the organization can introduce much-needed reforms concerning the above core issues.

Dear AAWA,
Thank you for your kind invitation to sit down with you to discuss ways in which Jehovah's organization
can introduce much needed reforms concerning what you refer to as core issues.
In case you aren't aware, we have been appointed by Jesus as his faithful and discreet slave and are
carrying out his wishes for his Father's organization.
However, we will be more than happy to sit down with you for an open discussion provided that you
supply us with a list of all your current and past members, including their addresses and telephone numbers.
Sincerely,
The Governing Body of Jehover's Witnesses

Did you manage to avoid getting dunked at an ASSembly?
by a split second rescuing our handicapped son from being pushed down the stairs by a flood of sisters rushing out to see as the drama had started.. the main offender being a special pioneer..
1996 DC - Columbia S.C.
First Day:
Due to all the loving brothers and sisters who had seats saved, the only seats
were in the upper balconies which were accessed by climbing up very steep steps.
We had our 5 year old and 3 month old children in tow and didn't even try to climb them
so we could obediently stream to the mountain of Jehover to be educated in the mental-regurgitating
bullshit from the faithless, diseased slobberers.
Instead, we opted to sit out in the breezeway where it was 20-30 degrees cooler than inside the venue.
Less than 10 minutes after the first boasting session began we were approached by a snot nosed attendant
who couldn't have been more than 19 years old.
He told us that we had to sit inside and continued on his merry way harassing other families with
young children who were sitting on the floor in the breezeways.
We knew better than attempt the stairs and the 100+ degree heat inside the auditorium.
So, we loaded up the kids and instead of checking into the motel, we called and canceled the reservations
and then proceeded to drive approximately 100 miles to Myrtle Beach where we had a glorious 3 day
real vacation which the kids thoroughly enjoyed.
That was the last DC for me.
