Why should you succumb to emotional blackmail from someone who obviuosly doesn't give a rat's ass about your feelings, thoughts, aspirations and standards?
Your spouse sonds just like my ex, who basically said the same things yours is saying.
Mine wanted all those things from me because it would make her look good in the eyes of other Jehovah's Witnesses. She didn't (still doesn't) care about truth or being true to one's self.
The best thing for you to do is to move on.
Make some real friends. I found out after I left the cult that there are many good, kind, loving people who aren't Jehovah's Witnesses. Some of them are Christians and some of them aren't.
Another thing I discovered after leaving is that most so-called 'worldlings' are a lot nicer, make better friends and don't stab you in the back like many in Jehover's organisation do on a regular basis and then claim they are 'imperfect' when you find out about their duplicitous behavior.
just thinking, and speculating here.
who would have even immagined a tv channel as a change.
what could top that?.
Sparky1 says:
"IF the Governing Body ever thought of doing such a thing and that is a BIG IF.................you can bet your bottom dollar that they would only procure free food, that was out of date, from grocery stores and other retail outlets. They would never, ever spend money on such a project. Then after they distributed the food they would 'pat themselves on the back' and proclaim loudly to the four corners of the earth how generous and 'christlike' they are. UGH!!!!!"
hoser says:
" Food banks don't help pay multimillion dollar sexual abuse law suits, but your generous donations to the world wide work will be put to good use."
Heaven says:
Still waiting on Jehovah to provide that second helping of manna...
******
That's the way it is in Jehovah's generous organization.
this in canada not the u.s. (if there is any law difference).. is there any legal way to keep away or restrain the j-dub step mother bitch from an innocent little four year old girl?
we have recently got wind of the j-dub bitch man-handling her by grabbing her by the face, scolding her, yelling at her.
it has been said that the father does nothing about it.
Report her abuse to the Department of Human Services, or the equivalent since you live in Canada.
obviously they feel a window washer job is a job anyone can do anywhere in he world .
and makes great money, yea right.. so what are all those 'approved jobs?'.

Blondie says:
"Actually the enterprising ones quickly find out what bad employees jws make."
Not only do JW's make bad employees, they are apt to sue their employer:

Probably more than any other religious group in the United States, Jehovah's Witnesses have a number of religious beliefs and practices which can lead to confrontations with their Employers, with their co-workers, with customers, and with others with whom they interact on the job. That fact does not mean that the civil rights of a Jehovah's Witness Employee are any less inviolate than the civil rights of other employees. It simply means that Employers will probably have to pay a little more attention to those employees who are Jehovah's Witnesses.

Cleaning and polishing floors at Walmart using a propane powered Pioneer Eclipse Buffer late at night is a much sought after profession by Jehovah's Witnesses.

my wife and i are thinking about moving to central tn somewhere between crossville and cookeville.
maybe even as far west to lebanon or as far east to hariman.
things have changes so much for us in the last 6 months we would like to live were it is a little warmer with lots of wild herbs for my wife who is a herbalist and for me so i can garden more.
I remember Seymour but it is to close to my brother. Still Totally ADD
Seymour is south of Knoxville and east of Maryville. It is farther from Cleveland than either of them and housing is cheap there.
It is only about 2 miles from my home to the outskirts of Seymour. Lots of farms and pasture land with some subdivisions, mobile homes and brick or frame ranchers.
You can find plenty of nice 3 BR houses on an acre lot in the area for under $100,000.
