Is Watchtower's stance against education only for North American witnesses
by wannaexit ini was reading on a european ex jw forum where some feel that watchtower's railing against higher education is primarily for north america issue.
this is due that many in usa and canada leave home to leave on campus.
it was mentioned that many young european jw attend universities and its not frowned on.. i found this odd because i heard what morris and losch said about education in italy.

Australian Jehovah's Witnesses seem to be better educated than North Americans Jws too. Maybe the Americans and Canadians started saying if they can why can't we.Have you read the thread on Topix.com about higher education.One Australian Jehovah's Witness not only has contempt for higher education, she hates the medical profession and claims that anyone who goes to a doctor when they are sick has no faith in Jesus (she actually implies that they hate Jesus).Her grammar is atrocious.A 2 year old has better powers of reasoning than she does.The poor woman swallowed the Watchtower's crazy ideas about education and asked for 3 refills. -

When 'worldly' people who have never set foot inside a kingdom hall say that when they see a Jehovah's Witness wearing that junk and see it on local kingdom hall property the first thing that comes to mind is the golden calf you can bet that almost every one who sees that junk except gung-ho JW's recognize the idolatry. -

I had served 'on the body' before and knew the tactics they use so I took a miniature digital recorder with me into the library and set it in the middle of the table on the day I met with two elders.

Experience in a talk
by Da.Furious inlast week we had an elder giving a talk, cant remember the title.. the thing that was of interest is the experience he gave:.
"a brother who was working in a hospital had to leave his job which was paying him good money because the nurses wanted to sleep with him and they kept putting notes for him on his desk!".
this is not the first time i hear similar experience.

What if WT will claim, that Jehovah has pulled a "Jonah and Nineveh" on them?
by prologos inwt seems to be helpless in really dealing with the failed prophecies, pending dates, overlapping groups--.. what if they declare victory, blame jehovah, in that he allowed the nations to come to their senses and not further escalate the use of weaponry, "destroying [life on] the earth"?

The example of Jonah & Nineveh is the only Biblical example one can use to remotely explain the "delay" of Armageddon. Otherwise, it was all simply a "false prophecy".
In either case, the WTS/GB would have to admit they were wrong, and that isn't going to happen.

I was invited to the Kingdom Hall and nobody greeted after five meetings

interesting question posted on yahoo, the problem is witnesses are not telling the truth.
how many times did you experience people not saying anything after some prolonged illness or separation from the kingdom hall for work reasons?
