well, some changes .... the new forum is nearly ready (though i expect will never be 'finished' lol) and i think it is a good opportinity to do some things differently and make a 'fresh start'.. i have incorporated features that will allow me to give other people the chance to get involved running the site so it becomes less 'mine' and more 'ours'.

Taming of a Beast (Long post)

it was back in 1993, the last day of work before christmas.

70 of us were laid off that day (after 6 months notice), and left at lunch, never to go back.

WOW Animal!!! I can only imagine what the rest of your book must be like!!! Words in the book I'm sure are a lot more colorful.

I am around here and there. Spending most of my time in chat when I am on here.

I will be leaving in February for about 4 1/2 months though. So if I disappear, don't be surprised. Have to go on a buisness trip. Thats all. Nothing to worry about.

well, this will be the best birthday i have ever had.

i had lunch with my mom and she has never had sushi before and she loved it.

it was sooooooo funny watching her try to use chopsticks....... to no avail--lol.

I lived in Guantanamo Bay from 1985 to 1990. Very hot down there. Don't wear anything long-sleeved on the plane. When you get off, you will melt.

And watch out for the Banana Rats, kind of like a large rodent, they are the stupidest animal on the planet I think. They sit in the middle of the road waiting for a car to come. Then when the car gets right up to them, they jump into your grill. Suicidal critters.

I only lived on the Naval Base, wasn't allowed to leave the base. Beautiful place though. Great fishing. Wish I could go back.

this lucky fellow i have come to know and love celebrates his date of birth two days before jesus does up in heaven!

this is not to say that vallywally was born the same year as good ol' jeezee boy - though his creaking brittle bones are getting close to becoming the same age - valis will have to summon the strength in his monty burnsesque body to blow out that truckload of candles on his cholesterol free birthday pappadum.

i love you, and want to have your babies.. happy birthday my good man!
