I mean the big bad wolf, blows houses down!
He doesn't give gifts to people!
But then again, remember when witches looked ugly and had hooky noses? Now they look very attractive nowadays! :D lol It's a strange world. ...Dark Angel, yeah, that's it.

I think I have been online since about... 1997-'98! It was all Netscape back then and it still wasn't as commercial as it is now.
I've known about this site for ages! I can't quite remember how long I've known about it for. At least 5 years or so... maybe more! But I was too scared to go on it in the past, I just glanced at it! Then I started to read it the last couple of years, and then finally I joined up!
This was the first site and only "apostate site" I have posted on. -

I've got relatives in America. I've got more icentive go to over there.
I think Australia is pretty limited in resources. Only 5 cities. Should be 50. Most of Australia is a wast, just sand. But it's all tied in the history and it was alright back then and they thought so as well.
Black Sheep, you just left after you found a job? How long ago was that? How old were you?
How do you get a working visa in the US? -

@Stephanus
Yeah, they are rude... It's so sad, why can't they just be nice for better or worse. I saw one lady at Central station... I had no desire to approach her but they have that demanding "I-belong-to-a-cult" look. :(
@talesin
I would love to leave Australia, got any good ideas for employment elsewhere? I fear what's going to happen with me in the future. :( I tried to ask the JW's for help last year. I had this idea of becoming a Bethel person and all that sort of thing. But this bastard gave me the run around and said Jehovah will sort everything out. :(
I know I sound stupid now, but I live at home with my mum. And I would love to leave home, but I don't know how to do it. :( Life sucks for me. So that's why I posted my resume on here. I need someone to give me a chance. :(
The JW's certainly hindered my life and so maybe someone on here can help me instead. :( -

Crisis of Conscience changed everything! Jehovah seems more understanding now. lol I think the JW's give a very demanding, falese representation of Jehovah. He's not like that at all! He is a loving God and that's his most important quality: LOVE! Even the JW's say that. I feel so different! wow! lol I feel like a person or something lol (...or something lol) I should read books more often. Particularly non-fiction. I have trouble reading books that are fiction... It's easier to read something with more "mechanical words." But I feel cynical not only about JW's but about all organzied religion, it's all just rot to me. I must emphasise that. :D I just like the Bible only. I saw some Mormons near Museum station in Sydney (If you know the place you know how "metro" it is) and I thought to myself "what a waste of time." They work 6 months and preach 6 months. God doesn't expect you to do all that! He wants you to worship him, but have a balanced life. There's no balance in religion like these 2... Anyway, it's been about a month or 2 since reading that book... and this is how I feel now. So, I just thougt I would try to encourage everyone on here, if they had doubts about the organization, or if they still love God but don't want to feel guilty? What do you feel like after you read books from people who have experienc? YOU FEEL GREAT! And it happens AFTER YOU READ A BOOK LIKE THIS. I am sure there are other great help books like this that try to set someone free, religiously speaking. My life is still hard, I am poor, but boy, I don't want to be poor & religious guilt. Too burdensome! That's just pure rot. So now my life is just hard only. :)

Jehovah or Yahweh?
by undercover inas i was growing up i remember that we, as jehovah's witnesses, took great pride in showing people god's name in their own bible.
we were the only religion(or so i was told anyway) that used god's name.
our bible, the new world translation, put god's name back where it belonged.

Hmmm... Ok. People seemed to not know too much about the book, and had the usual rejection that the name is Jehovah.
But, they were talking about his religion on there... I believe Gerard is a Jehovah's Witness, because I asked him in email not long ago... He usually replies me real quick! But it's been a few days now, there's been no reply. Usually when JW's don't answer you with serious questions like that, it's a "yes." I also agree that it's a bad thing not to answer. I am convinced this guy is a Jehovah's Witness, unless I am proven otherwise! -

I had my doubts that a JW would write a book like that. He seems to go into far more detail that what the WT publications go into. He quotes from the Jerussalem Bible and he hard to understand. His style doesn't reflect that of the WT, that's why I had my doubts. ...I thought it might be a possibility... I thought he might be an ex-Catholic or something like that... Some of my friends were saying they doubted that a JW would write a book like that.
But ok, I take what you say as correct.
