They don't like anyone who is not a JW, so doing anything with them (and particularly intercourse) that's the biggest insult to them, to use layman's words.
It's the equivalent of them saying "Get the f___ out of here, you f'n sleaze! Jehovah hates your guts now!" (In Spiritual language.) :)

Please help me understand about JWs as I have no idea about this religion
by unknown ini am looking for some one to help me understand a particular issue as a jw would see it.... if a single practicing jw was to have an affair with a married person (not a jw) knowing that they were married what would come of them or how would they feel about this being brought with a strict jw background?
i am trying to understand this as i have no knowlege of this religion.

Yeah, but that was obviously under special circumstances. We want a general feeling of "Yeah, it's ok to have long hair, as long as it is (say) not longer that the top of your chest," or something like that. -

That 3 assemblies a year was something similar they did in those Hebrew Scripture times too. -

Yeah, just like on the Catholic newadvent.org site (I love the site by the way!) said "how long is long?" We are living in 2005 and people are a lot different these days! People don't have morals like they did back then! :)
Need to research "how long is long?" 1st century AD. :D -

As a JW I was moderately prude. I was more friendly that other JW's. I could be prude, but also realized Jehovah wants us to take it easy sometimes too. My mum always told me (even though she was a JW) was to use discernment, because they are only humans! She use to tell me that a JW admitted the GB had incorrect statements in the WT and that you have to be an individual because JW's didn't necessarily pay attention to the Watchtower...

I am a bit of a "prude" when it comes to language... I don't swear anymore. Didn't when I was a JW, started swearing when I was out of it but now I don't want to, you know? Swearing ruins songs! :) -

(that's the cheapest gas!!!).
there are 3.78 liters per american gallon, so this would give $3.57 a us gallon..... what's the price of gas in your area?

Selling of a Kingdom Hall....Opinions?

i wanted to get opinions on something.. the congregation i was raised in, built a new hall in june, 1984, when i was 7 years old.
