@apocalypse,
It's interesting, when reading Christian Freedom (by Raymond Franz, former GB member) was saying that we shouldn't get anxious about the end times. He quoted a couple of Scriptures to prove this point on page 567. He quotes
Matthew 24:6; "YOU are going to hear of wars and reports of wars; see that YOU are not terrified. For these things must take place, but the end is not yet."
--and--
Thessalonians 2:1,2 "However, brothers, respecting the presence of our Lord Jesus Christ and our being gathered together to him, we request of YOU not to be quickly shaken from YOUR reason nor to be excited either through an inspired expression or through a verbal message or through a letter as though from us, to the effect that the day of Jehovah is here."
So don't be anxious! :) Let it all happen at live day by day as per usual. :)
These comments talked about on p. 567, are also discussed in The Last Days -- When book by Carl Ollof Johnson.

Dear United Nations. ([email protected])
by apocalypse ini am a jehovah's witness.
today in our weekly world-wide meeting of over 6 million witnesses, we studied the watchtower magazine.
in today's study it says "...powers within the united nations will see religion as a disturbing element and will act to destroy...christendom as well as the rest..."

Is the Bible both true and false?
by Narkissos inor, neither true nor false?.
*shamelessly plagiarising undisfellowshipped's threads for not being able to respond unilaterally to any of them as he seems to wish.*.
first remark: the bible is a (fortuitous or providential) collection of texts with different perspectives on most issues; so you can bet that about any sentence starting with "the bible teaches / says etc.

^^^ Regarding topic name above ^^^
There are 2 billion Christians in the world (with the number on a larage increase in Asia -- particularly countries like China where there is 50 million Christians) it's very likely that the Bible is true. I mean it's 2 thirds of the population. LOL! I'd place my bets on a book like that! Wouldn't you? :D -

What one sentence could you say to a JW that would stick with them?
by AlmostAtheist inyou've probably heard sentences that stuck with you.
quotes, one-liners.
you hear them and they make so much sense or touch you so personally at the time that they become part of you.

This is something typical I'd say: "I believe in Jehovah God, the Bible he gave us (39 + 27) and nothing else matters." (close door)
and/or-
And then I might quote them a Scripture that Jesus said; John 4:23 NWT "Nevertheless, the hour is coming, and it is now, when the true worshipers will worship the Father with spirit and truth, for, indeed, the Father is looking for suchlike ones to worship him." I then might say (if necessary) in that whole paragraph, there's nothing mentioned of having membership of a religious group. I believe that by arguing points, at times, it's important to indicate to them the whole paragraph of the topic made -- just to make sure it doesn't sound like you are taking things out of context. (have the door partially closed.)
