Bachelor's Degree

i finally graduated with my bachelor's degree last saturday.

i really wish i hadn't taken as long as i did.

my high school graduation was 30 years ago.

How much do you pay for your internet service?

a few years ago, i had dial up internet with netrover, and cost about 18$ a month, unlimited use.

but it was slow.. then i had videotron here in quebec, low speed internet (cable) for about 29$ a month which was about 3 to 4 times faster than dial up.

now i upgraded it to high speed for about 45$ a month plus tax of course.

I want a la carte stations.

Me, too. -nobody watch sports in our house- but I pay for that, we don't watch spanish language, but I have 3 or 4 stations. But the game show channel my wife enjoys , was taken off the regular lineup and put into an extra $10/mo tier by Comcast- they know what programs people will pay extra for.- I checked in other Comcast areas , and it is still on their regular lineups- I have to assume their marketing people found out that populations with a high percentage of retirees like to watch the older game shows-- and will pay extra for it.-- sneaky.

Texas has it's own power grid and oil and gas wind power.

-- research the trading with the enemy act from WW1 and how it has morphed into total federal domination of the states. I have been following some court cases where the judges just ignored the laws- with unpublished judgements, they can do that. Who is going to do anything about it? Eric Holder? Hardly.

Citizens used to be able to have indepenent grand juries to investigate corruption- not now. If the prosecutor doesn't allow it, it doesn't go before the grand jury. The criminality by government officials and politicians is out of control.

it all seems so playful and cutsie wootsie to an insider i suppose, i am seeing posts all over facebook about how this is just what my kid needs.. this is truly proper food at the proper time blah blah blah blomit blomit vomit vomit... the funniest part is however is that it cuts out at the end by saying "let's practice what you are going to say".. .

why not make the video longer and discuss how you can get an idea for a 6 year old on how to talk to a grown person about how they are going to die unless you study the bible with me..

They will go through the motions of doing service, but their minds are someplace else.

When I was a JW, I never talked about my interest in shooting and handloading. I knew that it was a topic that had no upside with JWs.

I see a split between urban dwellers and the rest of America. Colorado is mostly open land, small cities and ranches, but the urban (Denver) liberals have gained control of the State government and are steering the state in the direction they want.

i can understand why they think the end is near.. in the old days, one was proud to be a jw (well maybe.

not for you young ones) but for us that came in the 60,s.

and 70,s, we felt no shame in our game.

I found out a neighbor a few blocks away is a JW- he had a garage sale and he had WT mags on a table-

JWs lay low in the neighborhood so they can pretend to be normal people. They prefer not to work the territory their home is in. Deep down, they know the public views them as social parasites and just plain weird. Wearing that kind of badge must be depressing for JWs.

once we found out we were all witnesses, we all hugged.

now we just had to see if our kingdom hall was still standing.

when we came to the hall we had such a huge shock.. there were so many people there.

Electric generators pollute the earth- they are Verbotten by Jehoover!

No mention of any flush toilets or hot showers at the end of the day, either. I would like to see the 30 days after Armageddon story, when all the paper products, toilet paper, kotex, Q-tips, etc. have run out. All the canned goods and packaged foods are gone-- and the brothers have to start grinding their wheat into flour on a flat rock, milking a cow and washing their clothes down at the creek. I don't think it will feel like paradise then.
