I think she wants a relationship, but she WON'T let go of the WTS and she won't admitt that they could be wrong.
This is her decision, and she has chosen an organization over YOUR KIDS. This is exactly when I let my mom go. Why would I want a grandmother like that for my kids anyhow? God forbid something happen to me and her and her people end up raising him and then do the same thing to him when he grows up. It's too terrible.
I know I may catch hell for saying this, but, good parents do not abandon their children over a matter of religion, period.
Please don't let her make you feel guilty about this. You are not the one doing anything wrong, she is.

The poster who you find the FUNNIEST here, and why?
by outbutnotdown inof course, different people enjoy different types of humour, so there will be a wide variety of responses, but if you could mention why you find that person funny, personally, it would be appreciated.. i would have to say that i have to pick two people.
i enjoy having humour displayed in a tasteful manner, but with wit.
a life-lesson taught with a laugh is about as good as it gets, imo, even if i am not capable of accomplishing that very well myself.

High rates of depression in Org.
by chuckyy ini noticed after being a jw for a while that many members of my congregation were having to take antedepressants.
(i counted at least 30 out of 100).
after a few years i too began to have bouts of depression and problems with anxiety.

In my opinion, if JW elders are called to account by the legal system, so should the leaders of any number of other religions!

Would that it be so... that is one can of worms that the government is not willing to open though, so, for the time being, many suffer in a lot of religions/protected groups. The Catholic church losing lawsuits is a start, but this accountablity thing is going to take some time. The Govt is going to move very slowly on this...
