last week my mother gave me a woman's magazine that she had read at the home where she lives.
it had organization tips and recipes she thought i would enjoy.
i hadn't looked at it until two days ago, after she asked me if i had read it yet.
Not sure if that was rude, or a caring intervention. Knowing how you feel about the jw issue though, there are alot of magazines out there that she could have given you on the topic without resorting to subterfuge.
I'd have been irritated, but that's just me.
Congrats on the 10 lbs! I need to get back to the WW meetings; lost 21 lbs last year and have gained all but three back *waahhh*.

today i visited a dear one in the hospital.
i was there on monday and he was having such a rough time, i wasn't able to go into his room.
today, i arrived and peeked into his room, he saw me and waved me in.

She still goes out in 'service'? Telling people what? What a load of crap. That poor, poor little child. Torn to bits by her own grandmothers dogs after she had been warned that they were aggressive.
God, what a horrifying way to die. I feel so bad for that little child and her family.

i'm a non jw currently seeing a jw.
i am not totaly clear about the rules about jw's in dating.
could someone explain this to me and does it vary from family to family at all?
Did you make sure that your paternity was recognized? You have rights under the law and if you want to have anything to do with your child, you need to get a lawyer and pursue this *now*. The longer you wait the easier it will be for her to kick you out of your childs life.

Last I heard the technical answer was that if you married a non-jw, it was not a disfellowshipping offence. If you had sex with them before marriage, then yes.
