If you're vegetarian...look away..
by MidwichCuckoo in.
what's the strangest or most exotic food you've ever 'experienced'?.
for me, i suppose, it was badly cooked (i cooked it myself, say no more) crocodile....i'd like to try swan, and if i can find a loophole in the law, i will.

The very fact that the topic of abortion is a highly contentious issue is evidence of the heavy weight of such a decision. Pesonally, I think that it's a little self-righteous for any man to get on his soapbox and give such bias vocal opinions. It is well and good that there are some men who take their pro-creative abilities seriouslly, but you must remember that for many young girls they are involved with men who don't. Can you imagine anything more frightening that being faced with the idea of motherhoos when you are but a child yourself? Sure they could have, and should have been much wiser, but we have to all take responsibility for a society changed, that no longer can promise the perfect ideal of family life.

I saw 2 very different trailers for that movie "the Island", the concept seemed much better in the first, in the second it just looked like special effect trash to me.

I just found the Live Aid 1985 concert on boxset, I'm completely stoked! had to shell out $65 for the privilege, but I'm sure it's worth it.
So, I'm going home to listen to Bob Dylan 20years ago:)) Frog x

You're all beasts! Stop stuffing up the food chain peoples!!...people don't eat crocodiles and sharks, crocodiles and sharks eat peoples!
Don't get the whole exotic meat eating thing, meats meat, if you like eating it, remeber that there's someone out there who'd lick their chops at the sight of your dog rover, or your cat whiskers. You're all socially conditioned to believe that eating certain types of meat is conventional and normal.
Anyway, I'm hopping off my soapbox now, cause I know my pearls of vegetarian wisdom will get thrased (by ignorance;) on this thread. hehe.
I've eaten homemade tofu, yams and fufu in West Africa...pea pastizzi on Malta...buffalo cheese pizza in Roma & Napoli...chinese noodles in Hong Kong...pad thai noodles with lime in Thailand (oh yum)...vegie bangers & mash in britain...Croissants in France...

Wow Luna, I'm fully impressed that you're so familiar with our lovely Mr Erica Banna! I thought to you guys he must have seemed an odd nobody choice for the role, but over here he is well respected. Hollywoods version of Troy didn't do much for me, but I've seen much worse too!

Yep! JWD prompted me to analise more closely JW doctrine which I knew at heart was faulty for many reasons. Wasn't until I went fully through this process for myself that I was honestly freed in my mind of WT indoctrination, which once caused me great anxiety.
Too many people here to thank since I started hovering here in 2001. Initially my thoughts were that the "apostates" are so hung up on JW teachings obviously because their "bible trained" consciences wouldn't allow them to let it go, lol! I have to laugh at the bs thinking now, but in the early stages I was very much still thinking like a well trained dub, despite the inner repression I felt that was fighting against it.
