Ran into a guy from my JD the other day...

hey guys, after my post uni exam blues on saturday morning (i was having a bad morning as it was) i walked out of building and who should i run into but one of the guys from the jd committee that ousted me back in may 03!...he was also my last b/study conductor.

i've moved states, and a fair way from the cong i was in back then, but apparently this guy has also moved here and is studying law at my university!

...since then (since saturday) i have run into him on 2 seperate occassions, including when i jumped off the bus this morning coming to university grrrrrr.

hi all...i've just come out from my major sociology exam for uni, and just want to revert into a small ravene and curl up and die:(( sociology is my major, and favourite subject.

i've been at the top all semester with my results from papers i have written, and hoped to ace the exam.

i read over the exam questions and i knew the material very well, and was very confident in writing my response.

Silent Lambs on Aussie TV program

just thought i'd send a link to a transcript of a sunday program on channel 9 that aired on australia yesterday morning.

it was a great tribute to the plight of numerous silent lambs who have fallen victim to the failed policies of the wtbts.

Prayers at mealtime!!?

who still find it strange years on to dive straight into your mail meal without 'giving thanks'?

i say main meal, because dad's prayers were always considerably lengthy before a main meal, and are an institution in every jw household.

even now after a few years i'm just about ready to tuck in when i find myself saying a simple thanks under my breath.

something i?ve wanted to ask you all for a while.

had you 100% denounced jw doctrine to yourself at the time of your leaving the org?

i know many have said that specific issues prompted them to leave i.e., wt membership in the un, silent lambs/child molestation policy, malawi political party card issues, inconsistent changes in doctrine i.e., 1975/1914 generation not passing?new light begets old light begets new light etc.
