Passing emblems at the memorial is a blasphemous secret ritual
by truth_about_the_truth inexcerpt from: http://www.whale.to/b/sp/russell.html.
"the wt society performs a secret ritual every year which is their primary ritual.
this ritual is actually the ancient gnostic (satanic) ritual of saying no to the body of christ.

It sounded good to read but I think it falls into the realm of flimsy conspiracy theories just by it's use of the word "secret". We all know that the memorial is their most widely publicised event during every year and the attendance figures prove it.
Yes, but how many people know that they are actually taking part in a ritual that symbolizes a rejection of Jesus body? Now we have a secret...

I've participated in more than one Gnostic mass and in no case did the ritual include "saying no to the body of Christ". In fact, everyone partook.
Ice cream comes in 33 flavors. It's still ice cream.

Excerpt from: http://www.whale.to/b/sp/russell.html
"The WT Society performs a secret ritual every year which is their primary ritual. This ritual is actually the ancient Gnostic (satanic) ritual of saying no to the body of Christ. This ancient satanic ritual is now secretly practiced under the disguise of the Memorial Supper - where the elements of communion are passed and no one partakes of the elements. (When I say "no one" I mean that in a qualified sense-only a small group are allowed to partake. The actual figures of how many partake of the elements is a totally fictitious figure according to my sources, which is created at Bethel headquarters in Brooklyn."
Consider WT beliefs:
- Jesus is merely a high ranking angel
- Jesus is not God represented in the flesh
- The FDS is emphasized in much greater proportion than Jesus
- The FDS is in the place of Jesus as the way to the Father
- How many times have you heard the phrase: "Jehovah and his organization"? Where's Jesus?
Does this still sound all that far fetched given the WT connections with the Masons which in turn is connected to Gnosticism?

Current events and Bible prophecy - audio links
by truth_about_the_truth inthe wts has made many feeble attempts throughout it's history to try to tie together the bible with current (or not so current)geo-political events (ie: the current bookstudy publication).
i can tell you what i think of those but it would require a lengthy post for another time.
quite simply, it's pathetic.

I can tell you what I think of those but it would require a lengthy post for another time. Quite simply, it's pathetic. I'm sure you agree.
If you are looking for a different perspective regarding end-time prophecy and current events, or are even interested in hearing a different look into the news behind the news, try listening to these podcasts for a real breathe of fresh air. Note: these are not your typical corporate fundamentalist Christian Bible thumping broadcasts. Lots of fascinating info here:

What would happen if all of the WTS in-house attorneys quit?
by truth_about_the_truth ini was wondering, if the wts legal dept.
got overwhelmed with lawsuits and their volunteer attorneys at bethel decided that they couldn't take it anymore and decided to leave bethel, how would this affect the society?.
would the society have to consult outside attorneys?

You gonna hatch a plan for us?
Somehow I don't even think it's necessary. Given time the plan will most likely evolve by itself.

Would the society have to consult outside attorneys? Outsource them eventually? If that happens, how would it affect the WTS?
Non-witness attorneys in charge of handling their affairs would have a drastic affect on the WTS policies wouldn't you think? Not to mention the additional financial drain due to massive legal fees which for the most part they have been able to avoid up to this point because of their volunteer lawyers.
It's an intriguing possibility.
