  the quote below was part of a talk in the 90's.

  i heard this as a child and thought to myself, how can any woman accept such a draconian veiw?

  i was not sure if i had understood correctly so, i brought it up to my bible study conductor maggie, i was appalled that she agreed with this veiw, we debated it back and forth, until i got the upper hand, then she told me that i was to "rebellious and strong willed", and that i "should never get married", that i way i would not have to submit to male "headshit" "headship".

  Will the Society come up with new prophecy to cover the lack of growth now?

  was following mary's thread on the wt study of the annual report - what a hoot!.

  in follow-up; for years we have heard that the org's growth was 'proof' of the 'truth'.

  do you think the org will come up with some obsure scriptural/prophetic understanding to explain the reduced zeal for the 'kingdom' now?

  during talks, the audience just don't think.

  the speaker can shoot off some stat, a comment, but "where is the evidence for what you just said?".

  the speaker can give a really great story about how a drug addict became a jw, how it saved his life, but do they think: "yes, that is one neg example in the world, but what about the positive examples?

  LOL just a few weeks ago the speaker said "The numbers of the anointed have been going down every year" LOL everyone was kinda just shaking their heads "yes". I'm like: Whatttt!!!??? are you ppl doing? Braindead? Not look at the report?

  I really do believe that meetings put us in a trance state and we just kind of are there filling up on BS.

  No leave that checked man. If it is unchecked if will cache secure data and basically undoes the whole reason to have secure socket transmissions. If you get a trojan on your machine and youve been caching encrypted pages your private info could be comprimised.

  Its a broad subject but in the context of what I think you asked: It is a matter of scrambling data into a format that is unreadable with out a decryption key. Generally a security measure.

  You wanna know more or is that sufficiant?

  my law would repeal all laws except for 1. Long as you dont hurt anyone or their property, you can do what ever you want.

  Oh and IPSec would be the kind of all that you can see.
