  well i finally have stopped to say hello.

  i have been searching this site for a few months now and finding some interesting information, for now i am still a jw, confused as ever, feeling like my life is going to end and jehovah will take all the good in my life away by joining this forum.

  i have so many concerns and as you all know have no one to talk to.

  Sin in the New System...?

  does anyone know what would happen to a person in the new system if they committed a sin?.

  i was told that they would be made aware of their trangression, given a chance to put right immediately and if they didnt they would be put to death, because all issues regarding Jehovas sovereignty would have been dealt with in the old system - so he could now lawfully put them to death to keep the earth clean

  im now 41, but id have love to have stayed at 30. i felt like a grown up at that age, had eventually matured enough to live sensibly and still had smooth skin.

  many of the people on this site say that they are apostates.

  but that is not the way i feel about myself.. i am not angry with the "witnesses" or the organisation, i don't feel that i wasted my life.

  i just think that i was stupid to believe it for 30 years (well sort of believe it, i did have severe doubts on and off).

  i had an idea that i could build a uk map of everyones location which would show you instantly who is in your area from jwd.. (it might be an idea to do a seperate us one aswell but i'll wait and see if this one takes off first, or if anyone from the us wants to volunteer to do that one).

  (and australia but you are all in the same backyard anyway - literally!!!).

  anyway, all you have to do is post or email me your username and town and i will draw you on the map above which will change gradually to include everyone!.

  Yes, as everyone has been saying, statiscally children from abusive situations are more likely to become abusive. My father beat my brother, he went on to be abusive. Its a behaviour you learn - you get like those you live with because you dont now how to do things any differently.
