This is an interesting in that I doubt many JW's think about general society (society by definition) after the big 'A'. Most are just concerned with not dying imminently.

MichaelM, welcome to JWD
I would recommend before you change your life by devoting it to any organization read this book:
Scripture Twisting: Twenty Ways the Cults Misread the Bible
http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/ASIN/0877846111/christianministr
If you check out the chapter headings, you will start to see how denominations such as Jehovah's Witnesses and Mormons alike coerce people by misrepresenting the bible.

Vinny,
Ultimately your augments will always fail a scientific approach. Your belief that you find it inconceivable that, life and the universe just came about by chance, is an honest and fair one. But, this just demonstrates that you don't know much about Darwinian evolution. You have also shown that you don't know that much about what the bible says about creation, if you consider it factual. (Let me know if I've misjudged your take on the bible as being factual).
As an aid, let me explain a few things for you. This may help you re-evaluate the points you use for your argument.
1) Darwinian evolution is not about chance, it's about natural selection. Very different.
2) Things have come into existence, repeatably demonstrated for decades, with NO cause.
3) The bible's explanation of well known natural events, demonstrates a level of scientific knowledge available to the bronze age. Fascinating, however, desperately incorrect.
4) Your logic that everything is designed EXCEPT God doesn't stand up to your own 'Red Corvette' test. Because you introduced acceptable exceptions to your rule, it is only acceptable to test for other exceptions to your rule. Not to do so would be lazy.
In fact I'll go further with point 3 and say I find it contemptuous that you would slander people who are trying to discover other exceptions to your rule.
5) Some points of biblical prophecy 'proof' texts, actually are disputed in the bible. Jesus' birth place being one.
Overall, it's OK to say you find it too incredible that a designer couldn't have been involved in the creation of the universe. Many respectable people find it hard to conceive as well. But, if you are trying to dismantle known and proven scientific examples, then, do some research first.

Vinny, through your posts you keep referring to 'chance' as an atheist view of life.
For my clarification, are you suggesting that the basis of evolution is chance.

Nathan Natas, here you are:
"The Watchtower, July 1, 1992 Issue, Page 14:
AS SUPREME Judge, Jehovah has delegated judicial authority to his Son. (John 5:27) In turn, as Head of the Christian congregation, Christ uses the faithful and discreet slave class and its Governing Body to appoint elders, who at times have to act as judges. ( Matthew 24:45-47; 1 Corinthians 5:12, 13; Titus 1:5, 9)

vinny, the red corvette had an evolution, see here: http://www.hnhcorvette.com/company_profile.htm
So, we can say, that the red corvette evolved into what it is outside your house. It's very likley that a designer made it, but, the designer used evolution!

Atheists, Why the Anger?
by XJW4EVR inok, so you deny the existence of a god, or you lack belief in a god.
my question why do you get so angry over a mythical being?
no one gets as upset over the tooth fairy, santa claus or the easter bunny, as i have seen some of the atheists on this board get over the slightest mention of god.

5go, you correct in your asumption regrading the founding farthers. It's well known that the consitutuin doesn't contain words like 'God' or 'Religion', and if you spend time reading the correspondence of the founding fathers, it's striking how much contempt they had for religion.
