  well, everyone, tonight is the night when they are going to test out the new thought in the new om book.

  "brothers just want to make this announcement ....... is no loner a jw".

  buzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz then silent.. gosssssssssssssssip afterwards.. well that's love for you, 8 years and not one phone call.

  OMG Madmax they cant do that to you. Once a person is a fading for more than 3or 4 years cant exactly remember they can no longer D\F you. I cant believe they have done that es

  hey all i was chatting with a friend the other day he is baptized but basically a fader but his wife is still very much in the borg.anyway we were talking bout the new way of announcing d\f and d\a.

  and he raised a really goo point.

  the fact that they now announce such and such is no longer a jw does that mean if that person wanted to back to the borg they would have to be baptized again to make them a jw????

  yeah was just wondering the fact that they now mention no longer a JW then what is involved in becoming a JW again. Or would it just be the same as when they announced they were D\F or D\A do they just get reinstated. es

  i just got a call from my childhood friend lets call him jerry.

  well for quite some time i have suspected that he was gay, and its come up in our conversation a few times as well.

  he wont own up to it though.

  toughest question anyone can ask, if the love of your life, and mate/wife/husband/boyfriend/girlfriend messed around on you, whether it be once or for years, how would you handle it and what would you do, think about it slowly and carefully.. wouldn't wish it upon my worst enemy.. it's said that 50 % of marriages are affected by an affair, it's probaly alot higher.. did you notice any affairs in your congregation ???.

  i look back now, and think, oh yeah there was.

  I would much rather my partner leave me than to have an affair. I would never be able to trust him again and it would end up breaking us up anyway. es

  does anyone else experience this or is it just me?

  my jw mom just called and said she wanted me to call her back on my lunch break...but she didn't say why....so now i'm all nervous and worried, wondering what it is....did i get found out on this site by a lurker?...is there something wrong in the family?....i don't know!!!

  now i have this awful knot in the pit of my stomach that's going to stay there until i find out what the hell's going on........does (or has) anyone else have this experience with their jw mom or dad...where they say they want to talk to you, and u have to sweat it out until they're ready?.......

  I get like this all the time. I read to much in people actions and what they say and then i get worked up about it coz i thinks it because of me or something that ive said. When i lived at home i stressed out every time the phone called incase it was something bad involving me. es

  JWs required to report medical information to elders

  there was an article, i believe in the awake!, that talks about a hypothetical medical worker who in a hypothetical situation comes to find out that a jw has accepted a medical procedure that is not accepted by the wts.

  this hypothetical worker must decide where or not she will report the hypothetical violation to the elders.

  does anyone recall where i can find this article?

  this story made me so angry. I feel its not her place to say anything ethically or morally. what gives JW the right to break the ethical code of patient confidentiality. es
