another major bible topic that is often misunderstood is the allged preexistence of the messiah.

the messiah's mother, miriam, or mary as the greeks say, would beg to differ about the origin of her son's life.

she would be the first to say (if she were not a pile of bones somewhere in a tomb) that the her son was a human being who she raised on her lap.

Now, the Witnesses will have us believing that the Messiah was an angel named Michael that transmutated himself into the womb of Mary

And you would have us believe the Bible is credible and true. When in fact it is nothing but folklore and myth.

when we encounter a sign at the door that strictly prohibits calls of a religious nature and specifically mentions jehovahs witnesses, it may be best to respect the householders wishes and avoid knocking.. .

if you were a mean spirited, nasty supernatural being that wanted to reek havok on human civilisation how would you go about doing it?

inspire people to write several versions of a book, call it holy, then get people to slavishly follow the version that they prefer and die for it when they come in contact with a different version.

could a kind, all powerful, gracious god have ever inspired such a book.

i'm trying to watch the world cup honestly, but this has to be the most boring game ever invented.

I have to admit I am not very familiar with the game, what I don't understand is why don't they go all out and rush the goal everytime instead of trying to set up the same play: get it to some one on the side, he kicks it to the center hoping against hope to luck out and get it in. The most interesting parts for me was when they did go all out for the goal kicking the crap out of each other and had a shot at the goal. I want to see some heads pile driven into the turf.
