Can Quiting Smoking make you sexual?
by Sparkplug inok, loosing my damnable mind over here.
i have not smoked today and i am ready to climb the walls....so, with that said, is it just me?....
or is it this irritability frustration that could be solved with some "cuddling?

Oooops, have just seen you're female, too!
Anyway, that is my true opinion. I hate getting close to people who smoke. So, yes, stop smoking can make one more attractive to me.

Your JW Family: Reason With or `Live' With ?
by Jodo inpersonally, i've kept my thoughts on the "religion" to myself since i faded for fear of shunning.
now i'm starting to turn the other way and am considering taking some risks by talking doctrinal issues when occasions arise, but limiting myself to commenting on matters only on their instigation.
to me at least, that seems less confrontational......and most witnesses can't resist trying to encourage family members back to the fold, which means plenty of opportunities present themselves anyway.. what about you?

I don't ever discuss religious matters with my parents because it has never been a fair discussion when I tried to: Whatever they believe is right and whenever I present a different opinion I then must off course be wrong.
I don't feel the need to explain to them why I think what I think and I don't want to prove them to be wrong and that way steal their little paradise from them. They believed in this crap for all their life so live and let live.

Bobby Dall of Poison was the hero of my X-rated fantasies when I was a youngster. And nowadays days he's looking even better! And the music was just as well. I also love Robert Plant since I'm 10. He has always been my most favorite singer. He's 56 right now and it shows but he still looks great and his voice and music is as good as it has always been. Hope he never stops making music as long as I live.

Friends
by pleaseer2001 inok it has been a little bit since there was a fluffy post by p2..so here it goes!.
i have been thinking the last few months about family, friends and what role they take in my life.i have a good circle of people where i live but many do not understand my need to be who i am and to just live life and not give a hoot what anyone else feels the right or wrong way should be.
i live my life based on what i feel is right for myself and my kids...not what most would feel as the norm.

I agree with all said above. I only would like to add that a friend is someone you feel comfortable to sit with in silence. Plus I don't have to explain much to my few but good friends because they know me and vice versa.
Anyway I think the purest friendship is the first big one. My first best friend was a girl I grew up with. She died in a car crash when we were aged 15 and I never ever felt so close to a friend again although I have great friends today, too. But that first friendship was just different. I guess that's because when you're young you are way more unconditional.

Is Confession Actually A Bad Thing To Do?
by Englishman inwhen i make mistakes ( i do, i do!
) or do something really bad, the last thing i think about is confessing to it.. i apologise where appropriate, try to learn from the experience and generally file away the event so's to maybe profit by the experience.
sometimes i even feel remorse!.

Religions instill the feeling in people that they need to be allowed certain things and therefore have to confess if they do "wrong". Religions treat people like kids. Me personally feel only bound to my countrys laws and - when it comes to relationships - to my own conscience.
