  rayford of bethel something about this scripture being fullfilled... yatta yatta...blah blah blah... wondering if anyone else has heard this rumour.

  Fun family study? Tolerable?

  was there ever such at thing in jw families, or is this phrase oxymoronic?.

  sometimes the meetings encouraged "variety" in family studies, assigning certain research projects to different family members, or setting up a bible reading as though it were a play.. none of that happened in my family.

  it was just dry question-and-answer.

  new e-mail from my mom

  my moms e-mails get shorter and shorter.

  I received a package from my mother today

  my dub mother sent me a package today, inside was a nwt bible, a picture of me around age 5 at an assembly - i looked miserable and my dad was holding a battery operated fan in front of me, and a letter, here is the letter.

  i ask that you remember that i was 18 when i left and i'm now 42, that there is a total of 8 children in my family and there are only 2 that are still jw's, oh and that my mother is a complete nutcase!

  To believe or not believe...

  that seems to be the question around here lately.. people's panties have been getting into quite a twist over this one.. personally, i don't believe.

  but i'd like to put that aside and focus on something else.. i'd like to focus on: now what?.

  what can we individually and collectively do to make this planet a better place to live?

  Handmade anniversary jewelry

  today is our 17th wedding anniversary and i made my wife a mokume* pendant and ring.

  the pendant is pure copper and silver with a sterling rope chain.

  the ring is five quarters with nickel silver powder sandwiched between each one.

  Not allowed to sleep over - is that weird?

  okay, so my guy and i have been together for 10 months and we usually are ok together.

  but there is something that has been getting to me and i think its unusual, but please correct me if i'm wrong - he won't let me sleep over at his house.

  and he hardly ever stays at my house, he's maybe stayed here 3 times in our whole relationship.
