As a particularly hirsute individual I find it to be a pain. I make exception in the summer months though when a little lotion south of the border can ward off any unwanted chafing.

I don't think police horses are gay myself but I'm not sure about the Native American Indian horse, the cowboy horse, the biker horse or the construction worker horse though.

Turn you justice system into a media frenzy and the stars will win every time. The guy has or has had the money to get himself the mental care he so obviously needs but instead he used that money to bypass the system. I'm not being a weeping liberal and saying that he's had a hard childhood and should be excused for his actions (the ones he's admitted to, like it or not if the jury say not guilty the he's not guilty) but the man's not right in the head. It should never of been allowed to get this far if the safety of children where in anyway threatened.
And a question to all you American law experts, this not guilty isn't the same as innocent. Do you have three possible verdicts in the American legal system?

What your opinion will the Governing Boneheads pull out all the stops?
by frankiespeakin inwhat your opinion will the governing boneheads pull out all the stops, and get meaner and tougher in thier tactics and policy making in the near future and beyound or will they become more main stream and lighten up in thier harsh treatment of the flock?.
i see a very ominous trend in the organization that seems to becomeing more and more hardline.
as minimuses thread about a new search and destroy mission to df'n or da'n jws who stop going to indoctrination sessions and no long sell thier books, calling on them asking them if they still want to be jws, to which they must respond with an unqualifies yes or get the ax.. it seems to me that this is the trend, which may back fire and cause the governing boneheads some real problems in the future.

I think the hard line approach is just what the emerging African and South American markets want. Are European and American congregations growing fast enough to need new halls and satisfy the orgs greed for property? Is there demand for publications in an increasingly secular society? They're not shooting themselves in the foot, they're cutting out the deadwood before moving on.

Can't Americans Understand Plain English?
by Englishman ini watched an interesting film last night.
"a handful of dust" with kristen scott-thomas and alec guinness.. it wasn't bad, so this morning i idly took a peek at the write ups on the net, it being a movie made in the 80's.
to my astonishment, some american viwers were complaining that the movie didn't have any sub-titles!!!

As people often forget the English language was invented as a trading language. It meant to develop and does so very well.
I'm a southerner living in the north and I can tell you sometimes I can't understand a word they say up here, but then again I do live in a predominantly West Indian community, after five years I'm up to recognising one out of every three words.

What was your breaking point?
by soundbox_guy inokay, i'm new as you all probably know, so my question may have been discussed several times in the past.
i'm just curious as to when some of you came to the conclusion that enough was enough and that you didn't want to attend the meetings anymore or not be a jw.
was it in field service, at home, at the hall?

I'll be as honest as katiekitten and put my demise down as wanting to increasing my chances of getting some skirt. OK not as principled as most but what else was a 16 year boy going to be thinking about?

I often think what a great way to get rid of two “h”es in scrabble though alas it is not to be. Damn you Hasbro and your proper noun rule.
