No, the need to invent religion is a social condition not a biological one. Therefore the need to join a religion is purely governed by social factors.

This thread reminded me of a game I use to play at the KH. I would look at my watch and then try and count the time in my head and then when I thought 5 minutes had passed look to see how accurate I was. I got a mars bar at school once in a biology lesson for timing one minute spot on. When I left the dubs I had an talent for perfect time comprehension. On the downside when I left the dubs I lost said talent due to substance abuse. Oh well wont need it again.

So it's Witnesses in their eagerness and not the WT (the official journal of Jehovah's Witnesses) that make these prophesies. Also they're not false because they put in small print somewhere that they're not direct revelations from god.
So if for example I take my car into a garage to be serviced and the tea boy does all the work on it. When the engine explodes half a mile down the road it's not the garages fault. This is because it was the tea boy who did the work not the actual non-existent entity call ?the garage?, and the tea boy is not to blame either because he never claimed to be a mechanic event though I was never informed of this till after the event.
And you say the WT has a legal department??

I was Molested by my CO grandfather
by AshtonCA ini was molested by my grandfather from the age of 3 to 7. he was also molesting his daughter (my aunt) and maybe others.
it was covered over and my entire family was actually shunned when we went to the elders when i was 18. i did not tell anyone about it until then because my grandfather had me believing our relationship was special and it was our little secret.. when confronted, he of course denied it.
my mother even spoke up of a time when he had tried to molest her when she was 8 months pregnant with one of my brothers.

Usually I keep them chatting for an hour or so, best if its winter. I don?t tell them strait away that I?m an Xdub but will at some time usually when we?ve gone around things like evolution, the flood (my favourite), new light, was god morally right to decide this or that. One and a half hours is my record till they left. They have to leave of there own free will thats in the rules.
They don?t come a knockin? at my door no more.
