do you think the gb should limit contact with bethelites because of possible harm that could come to them right there at headquarters.
i mean think of how many bethelites have interent access and know the gb are tyrants, but are stuck there at bethel because they have no money and no place to turn because they have been there for many years.. i think many gbs purposely keeps to themselves now a days, they probably should even think seriously of a body guard even while at bethel.. have you notice the wt doesn't give any advance notice when a gb will be speaking at conventions anymore, could it be that they are worried that some father or other family member who lost a child through thier no blood policy, finds out throught the internet that the gb are phoneies and now blames the gb for the loss of life.
think of how dangerous it would be to give advanced notice when so and so gb member would be giving a convention talk.
Once I grasped the shear number of lives shattered and destroyed, to support their little fantasy of divine appointment, I have marveled often that Bethel has not had a close encounter with a moving truck full of fertilizer and diesel fuel.
I hope that never happens. I think many innocents would die needlessly. Many more lives would be destroyed. I think the wt can be taken down by more peaceful means. It will either reform or collapse under the weight of its own internal contradictions. And thousands of voices screaming that the emperor has no clothes.
I have wondered how such an event would be viewed though? Obviously they would chalk it up to persecution, but you would have to wonder how they would rationalize Jehovah allowing his governing body to be destroyed?

Well here is the chronology. I had to explain this to my son, since the idea that the first trilogy is predated by the second trilogy simply ground his 9yr old mind to a halt.
Think of it like a book with six chapters. The first trilogy was the last three chapters (kind of a cheap space age rip off of The Lord of the Rings)
IV A New Hope
V The Empire Strikes Back
VI The Return of the Jedi
Now the trilogy being shown and made recently is the first three chapters.
I The Phantom Menace
II The Clone Wars
III The Revenge of the Sith

Anyway, my favorite Englishman would have to be Winston Churchill. Whenever I think of some really awesome quote I have heard, I simply attribute it to Winston Churchill, and as a result I am usually right.

Most of us are ok with that though. We think the truth doesn't need the cowardly refuge of human claims of authority. The truth stands on its own just fine. It doesn't fear examination or questioning.

I know kid. We have all been there. And most of us have had our guts stomped on at one time or another. We listen to you and we see ourselves. We can't go back in time and yell at ourselves, so we yell at you. Just remember, we are the future you. We are saying the things that you will wish you could go back and tell yourself.

I am going to venture a guess that this is a relatively new experience for you. After it has happened to you a bunch of times, it gets to be no big deal, and you learn to keep your head about you.
