That brings us to another point. People who pray so hard to the point of exhaustion, must feel better afterwards. And they attribute that to God.
But doesn't the same feeling come about when you pour your feelings out to another person?
It feels good when one is troubled and lets it out. I think that's why people who pray believe that God is involved because they feel better afterwards.

Yeah, that's what the rich want you to think. It eliminates the competition.
Anywho, I can't complain. The only time I prayed to God when I was younger. I prayed the girl next to me in class would let me fuck her. Sometimes God would answer my prayers, sometimes he told me it was enough. That I needed to learn the meaning of enough, whatever God!
In my adult life I never prayed to God and I'm doing good. And about asking for riches, well of course God is not going to give you those riches. Apart from not existing, getting to be rich takes hard work unless you inherit that wealth or get lucky. And I hate to break it to you but most of the poor also end up dead or with a miserable life.

at this juncture, i will add my usual 'intercourse you, watchtower and your lying promises' ..................... realizing full well that a future witness will benefit from a lab grown heart while parking his flying car and while muttering 'everything is worse and worse'.
i guess that's no differerent than watching an ultra-orthodox rabbi in 18th century ghetto dress on satellite tv or jihadists using the internet to extol the virtues of a corrupt and ignorant caliphate in the middle ages.. if this keeps up, i will be hard pressed not to empathize with atheists who absolutely despise religion.
