moreso, satisfactorily give sound reason for inaction) to people who lost their entire family in a tsunami, or who are living their childhood being raped, molested and abused by those close to them, or to those being wasted away in horrific diseases. if they can get an answer for "why can't I stop being raped?" etc then I'm certainly willing to carefully consider the answer because I can't honestly even begin to contemplate what rational for not stopping things like that would be.
There are two (2) responses to both your and the OP's original question, dear Simon17 (peace to you!). Both are missed by the majority of mankind. The first is that the Most Holy One of Israel is not obligated to answer to, give any reason - sound or otherwise - or save anyone... other than those with whom He has covenanted to do so. Those are the ONLY people He promised to hear, listen to, protect, and prosper. That is Israel (and no, not those who believe they are Israel because they and their ancestors were born in a certain region and/or adhere to a particular religious system... but those who are either true blood descendants of Abraham, particularly through his son, Isaac, and HIS son, Jacob... or those and those (of ANY nation) who go with them, particularly those who are taken into Israel by means of an anointing with God's blood, holy spirit).
The second is that no one comes to God... except through the Door that He provided, His Son and Christ, the Holy One of Israel and Holy Spirit, JAHESHUA MISCHAJAH.
To help you understand, I give you the account of Joseph. The family of a man in Canaan could be in the throes of famine, their crops producing nothing, and thus starving. They can cry out all night and day for Pharaoh to send them some grain. Indeed, the cry might even reach Pharaoh. However, the DECREE from Pharaoh was that ANY who wanted some of HIS grain... HAD to go to... and through... Joseph. It would have been the height of presumptuous, then, for such a man to sidestep Joseph and directly go to Pharaoh and ask for grain. In that situation, one of three things would have happened:
He would have been put to death for invading Pharaoh's chambers without a proper invite or having been granted such access by... you guessed it... Joseph'
He would have been turned away, tossed out, and sent home... with nothing at all
He would have been sent to Joseph
The only way the third could have occurred would be if the man could show there was some reason he didn't know of the decree. Given that the decree went out into all the land (and Egypt was over Canaan, at the time), that excuse most probably wouldn't fly. Most probably, the decision would have been that he SHOULD have known, either because messengers had visited him personally with the decree... travelers or traders passing through the land would have told him... or he would have inquired when he arrived in Egypt asking for grain. Jacob's sons certainly knew (or found out) who to go to.
Meaning, one the first two was most likely to occur. It is exactly same as to one having one's cries for relief heard by the Most Holy One of Israel, JAH of Armies. Without going to and through Christ... it just doesn't work. What of one's like, say, Cornelius? If you believe that Cornelius didn't come to accept Christ as the Son of God, given what occurred in Jerusalem... simply because the Bible does not say he did... then you are fooling yourself. Christ didn't say, "No one... except for Cornelius and those like him... can come to the Father, except through me."
I hope this helps and, again, I bid you peace!
