How Long A JW ( Baptised )?
by hillary_step ini frequently read on this board that somebody has 'been a jw for over 25 years' and then learn that they are in fact 25 years and three days old.. i am very easily confused, in fact i actually got inside a car of similar color to my own recently and spent at least five minutes with a furrowed brow trying to force my car key into its ignition, fortunately, i realised my error before i was arrested.
so, just to humor me, can you all post how long you were/are baptised jw's?.

What the hell did he need a language for if God hadn't decided he needed a mate? What was the purpose of naming them? Lions, and tigers, and bears huh!
Which particular animal was killed so that Adam and Eve could have clothing? guess that sewing was also instituted too?? Just a few little questions that I've had wondering around in my head. Buff

do they stay in modest motels hotels or do their setttings have to be in 5 star hotels?????.

David huh, oh yeah I remember he's the guy took another guys wife made her pregant, had him killed and then married the bitch. Then the God of love destroyed the child to punish David. What was the kid did? oh yeah he was born. David seemed to affirm the love of men (Jonathan) being of more import than the love of women. And before I forget while hiding in the hills keeping other thieves away from his private stock of borrowed herds to kill and feed off of, he wants to have the owner pay him for stealing his goods and keeping other thiefs from it. The owners wife was so enamored with David that she married him, just another piece of tail to David as he had lots of wives. What a guy huh.

YoYoMaMa, the question that should have been asked by you, is what is the one org that God is supposedly using here upon the earth doing. There are children is almost every country on earth that needs Gods mercy and help, why is your org not doing anything constructive? Leaving a mag to be used to light a fire or clear onself isn't quite what most people call help sure won't feed them will it. Buying another building in Brooklyn won't help either. Cutting subscriptions wont, Maybe money food counseling a strong arm to lean on would help. But like anything relating to charity the Borg does absolutely nothing. If you are the "one" org used by God the merciless, why aren't you out helping the poor, the tired, the wounded in heart and spitir, the starving etc. etc. etc. Huh well why aren't you.

Zerubberballs, Have you ever thought about all the new light Rutherford and company received when they erected antennas for thier radi broadcasts? Now thats how they received new light, when lightning struck the antennas it zapped Rutherford sober and he seen the light so to speak. Buff

Bibleexaminer, Hi I bet your heart must have picked up in rhythm when you beheld the elder. Just being apprehensive over the thought of one of the elders seeing you reading a non pronographic book should have sent alarms racing throughout your system. Why should you have been afraid if the borg wasn't a cult and you had true freedom of religion?
Wel we both know that freedom of religion does not exist in the borg, There is no freedom where Jehovah'w witnesses are concerned. The trumpets which should alarm people fall upon deaf ears.
You can get a mule's attention with a two by four but you can't get a jdubs attention with truth. I suppose most (like we all were at one time) are rather mulish in thought process. They have been led to the water but like a horse you can'tr force them to drink. Buff my $.02

Xmas story
by buffalosrfree inwhen in the borg, my wife and i were invited to this elder's house for a bite of supper on xmas eve.
we went over there and guess what, turkey dinner with all the trimmings and just a hint of the orient thrown in.
supper was great, we talked about life in the service, both of us were retired military.

Supper was great, we talked about life in the service, both of us were retired military. We himmed and hawned about various things and good time. However while there one of his grown children made a comment about getting a camera and getting some pictures. When asked which one to get, reply was to get the one you gave me earlier when we exchanged gifts.
It was one of those things that make you go HUMMMMMMMMMMMM!!!!
And guess what on the 26th we were invited to a turkey dinner with all the trimmings too.
Seemed to by a lot of turkey and hypricosy being served then, and things still haven't changed. I Suppose. Buff
