Anyone know of any world wide legends or myths of the earth standing still, or the sun standing still as is brought out in Joshua (fables of course) I asked this of two dubs today, we commented on the legends of the flood, nearly all cultures have had floods to deal with, but what about world wide legends/myths of the sun/earth standing still? They of course had no answer other than to say the bible is right in every detail. one other question i hit them with was where is the great crowd today, if in fact in 1935 all those not of the annointed were of the great crowd where were they, how old did one have to be to be a part of the great crowd? How old would they be now, and based on the life expectancy of mankind would hardly any of them even be alive and if not how could they be called the great crowd???? Dead silence, you could have heard a pin drop on a carpeted floor. They truly don't even listen to themselves.

Those crazy annointed
by joelbear ini knew several of the annointed over my life.. once when working door to door we were rejected and the annointed brother said loudly as we were leaving, "he will make good fertilizer for the ground after armageddon.
the annointed brother i worked with as a little kid used to take me to dairy queen on hot summer days to drink out of the water fountain at the back.. one brother who claimed to be of the annointed worked at the equal opportunity agency.. one guy about my age who i was friends with at bethel discovered he was of the annointed a few years ago, many years after he was baptized.
i think people will continue to make this discovery forever.. one annointed guy used to rub my knuckles together whenever he shook my hand and also used to grip my knee joint very hard, both hurt a lot.

I had met several over the last 21 yrs. and i have asked everyone the same question, if you are really of the annointed and the stuff about the F&DS is actually true how many times over the years has the Society contacted you on any point having to do with the bible.? The answer has always been never, I also know 2 brothers who were on the writing committee in Bethel one for over 20 years, he ain't annointed but has helped and has written articles, so i asked him why he has done that and he isn't annointed, he has no good answer other than to say that was his job. They the annointed (supposedly) and the others are so full of it they are human walking cesspools.

Graveside Service

the majority of those who answered was right...no, they are not able to do that, surprize surprize!
we are having our own family dinner in my uncle's home.

Confrontation times 2, My lovely weekend ahead. Any thoughts .......
by run dont walk inwell, my life is about to change over the next week, the anxiety is running high, and the adrenaline is going full blast, i hope i make it .... just a reminder of what has happened ... last summer my wife went to ontario and stayed with her sister, at the time me and her were not doing to well, and while she was there she screwed around on me, and her sister laughed about it.
it's been 11 months, i've did the counselling, and i've tried to forgive her, but i'll tell you all something ...... "it just eats at you everyday, no matter how hard you try.".
so i arrive on saturday, and day 1 will be taking care of this guy, i just hope i don't k--l him and spend the rest of my life in jail.

take him out and beat the stuffing out of him, if he knew she was married, if not, then tell him she is believed in your opinion, (which isn't a fact)that she was exposed to aids and hopefully he will have it too, that will give him something to think about.

told them of the lack of love in congregation, the society constantly using loaded language to put guilt trips on the r&f,.
the sept article on actually enjoying yourself vice beating in doors and telling people something they dont want to or could care less about hearing.

i.e. the sept article on actually enjoying yourself vice beating in doors and telling people something they dont want to or could care less about hearing. About how book studies aren't studies, how the schools sucks and isn't a school at all but a do it yourself kind of things then get pounded on by the "school overseer", or worse told you did a good job when you know you sucked. i let loose a little and told them thanks but no thanks im inactive and fully intend to stay that way.

well when they found out we had arrived, this elder comes around to visit and it wasnt hi how are you it was "hi i would like to offer you an opportunity to donate once again to our building fund", then he got around to asking how we were doing and were we enjoying our visit.
what a buch of bull.

We are visiting down in province and my wife much to my displeasure on her last few visits has been donating money to the building of a new kingdom hall, of course this has been going on for a couple of years. well when they found out we had arrived, this elder comes around to visit and it wasnt hi how are you it was "hi I would like to offer you an opportunity to donate once again to our building fund", then he got around to asking how we were doing and were we enjoying our visit. what a buch of bull. We declined then, and a day or so later this sister stops by who is pioneering there and she and my wife had previously been out in service together and she told my wife that elder so and so had to step down and my wife of course asked why, well its seems like the elders wife had been taking 20% of the money my wife had given to the brothers (this elder collected it) for the building of the new hall, his conscience finally got the better of him after the pioneer sister had told them to p.o. that my wife had given such and such amount and wasnt that great, I would have loved to see the look on the face of the p.o. when he realized that some of the money had been used for personal reasons. Well so much for their not asking for donations. The elder stpd by agan and wanted to know if we were going to donate and i unequivically told him no, no way, call the society they are filfthy rich, and just where is all the money going that has been donated for the building funds????? thats it folds take care.
