As an attendant in a cong from around 1993/94 until 97, I attended all memorials and was the attendant in charge of counting the heads so to speak, and two occasions that I checked, the number given was definitely different than the number i counted and gave the secretary, yes the do in fact inflate the numbers. I was an eye witness to it. So I dont trust any statistical info that they put out, it is all probably lies.

page 54 has a table listing change in religious self-identification between 1990 and 2001. the four bottom religions, with negative percentages, are jehovah's witnesses (-4%), jewish, rastafarian, and protestant.

It must have been refreshing to be able to talk with a dub, that once they realize that you have been df'd that still continued to talk with you, I did much the same when active, talked with anyone who wanted to I didn't care if the had been disfellowshipped or dropped out all on the own all the same to me. So many of them tho equate Jehovah with the org, they just can't seem to separate the two in their minds. Oh well don't suppose most of them ever will.

My wife and I give to them almost daily, the indigent and the homeless. In fact today we took 50lbs of rice a couple of cans of stew, and 6 cans of spam to a couple whio had almost nothing. They have kids and I didn't want them to go hungry.

It depends on what I have to do that day, normally prior late Nov 2004 I only slept about 4/5 hrs per day and I was fine, now at times I feel like an old man and have to take a nap once in awhile. but my norm is 5/6 now and i feel fine. I love waking up in the early morning hours, its quiet, no else up, and no one to bother me. sleep depravation can be a killer tho. One time I had to work from 6am until midnight for 152 days, everyday i had to do 1 hour of exercise that was between 12 midnight to 6 a.m. in the morning, then shower and somehow relax enough to sleep, talk about being dog tire when that mission was over, came home said hi to the wife, took care of my husbandly duties (fun) and went to sleep for 17 hours. Got up had 5 beers, 3 rum and cokes and sleep another 6 hours all and all it was very refreshing especially the beer and rum and coke.

that's not too bad being that it will be $25 per month for me.

My meds which i get tfor free only cost me 25 yrs of my life in the military, whopee, I had two hospital stays in the last year for a total cost of over $100,000 and it only cost me 25 years of my life, what a bargain huh? Myl sister-n-law pays $7.00 per pill and has to take 3 a day, thats $21.00 per day 365 days a year, tell me the drug companies aren't making money head of heals kind of money they cry expenses all the way to the bank. The same pill my sister uses, made by the same company, they found when the went to mexico for cents on the dollar. now guess where she buys those pills, same company, same med, same bottle, same package, different price $7.00 per in u.s. cents on the dollar sourth of the border, Canadians and u.s. citizens are getting ripped off.

Which meetings did you hate the most?
by JH inout of the 5 weekly meetings, here are the ones i hated the most.. in order.
1. theocratic ministry school ( i hated speaking in public) got me so nervous.. 2. service meeting ( too much crap and statistics and presentations).
3. the book study ( just a waist of time ).

I hated the non school, the misery school or whatever term yu want to give it. People doing bad job told they done good, People do a good job and they have to say something bad about it. What a bunch of hoooeeey.
The Sales errr Service meeting had very little going for it except its ending, that was always my best part of the sales/service meeting. absolutely worthless waste of time.
Other than those two I hated the rest of them.
