stalker update

we are still trying to put an end to this stalker stuff.

so far there still is not enough hard evidence for the police to do anything, but that white car that we saw checking us out the night we were parked outside watching our son's house has been back in the neighborhood and we now have the license tag number.

the problem is i can't find a web site where i can check out who the car belongs to without paying $100.

I have access to certain states to look up that information so it depends on what state you are in. My brother-in-law has access to them all so if you want to email the info I will see what I can find.

First off I am not a Jehovah's Witness but I have friends who are and many who were. Online is a great way to meet friends especially when you are tied to family responsibilities. I hope it's not a problem if non witnesses reach out the hand of friendship although maybe your conscience does not allow that. Anyway.. Welcome to the board and big hugs!

Straw that broke the Camels Back

so, whats the straw that broke the camels back in your life?

what was the final last straw that made you say thats it- no more?

i have so many-for 15 years i kept getting that last straw-and trying to ignore it- but i think the last straw was when my dad died- everyone kept (keeps) giving me the line of bs about never seeing him again unless i go to meetings.

Tinkerbell~~> my mother would tell me that *if I'd stop missing meetings and get back to the kingdom hall, I wouldn't have any of these problems*. That I had these problems because I was missing meetings.

My mother told me the same thing after any family or personal crisis but she wasn't a JW and neither was I (that is still the case) Anyway those fundie homes can be similar in so many ways .. I just always heard "if you were only going to church this never would of happened" ... this was the line given after discovering my daughter had been molested .. talk about salt in the wound!

i just got out from jw bye a d.f.

4 weeks ago after 44 years as an active jw.am i insane or why am i having that great feeling of freedom??

i am sitting here infront of the computer having a cold beer and just enjoying life.shouldnt i be crying and having a depression sitting here in tears over missing all my jw friends that now are vanished??.

they, the jehovah's witnesses, use 1 thessalonians 4:16, among many others, as a proof text for their claim.

for question #3) what does angel mean in this passage of scripture, if this angel is not a created angel?

Quantum-->Did any of them know who Jesus Christ was? What was there understaning of the animal sacrifices they were commanded to do. Were they kept so in the dark that who ever was giving them their revelations never revealed to them the mystery of this or the reason?

Abraham saw His day and rejoiced in it. All the types in the Old Testament pointed to the reality at a future time. Even the Pitch used on the outside of Noah's Ark .. that is where the word Atonement comes from.

Your first statement made a judgment that this person has turned their back on Jehovah and your follow-up question then asked what he was disfellowshipped for ... does it matter? My lovely wife is still a JW but hasnt attend any K.H. since my D.F. and I dont think she will ever go back (but if so that is her decision) anyway I am a lucky man to have her by my side.

That is good to hear! It means a lot to have the support of your mate in transitions such as this. May you be blessed with peace and happiness no matter where life's many roads may lead you!
