IMHO the guy has no clue as to what a "normal" sexual relationship is (just based on various statements I've heard over the years in the press), which makes him look extremely suspicious to me. Granted, the press is not necessarily the best source for factual information.
My instincts tell me he's not right in the head and that can lead to any number of atrocities (i.e. woman drowns her 5 children as a result of post partumn depression).

i guess right after the announcement was read, one of the "friends" told her "it's kind of like a death in the family, isn't it.
I remember my boyfriend telling me (before I started studying) that his JW parents would rather him literally die than not be a Jehovah's Witness because then at least he would have the hope of being resurrected.
I thought that was so deluded. And yet I still studied Go figure.

Jesus never agreed with those who tormented and killed him. He never gave into their way of thinking. It was certainly not God's organization unjustly punishing Jesus. It was not God's organization telling Jesus he needed to die. BIG DIFFERENCE.
Jesus sacrificed his life for us. He remained true to God and humbled himself to God. He never served nor submitted to any manmade organization.
Gotta love the way you twist words around though. That was truly creative AFIN.

To me sinning against the "Holy Spirit" would be the same as rejecting God's existence and influence in your life. So long as you refuse to acknowledge his existence and you refuse to allow his influence in your life then you will not be allowed entrance into his heavenly kingdom. If you eventually do choose to believe in God and accept his influence in your life then you are no longer committing the unpardonable sin in a sense that you will be allowed to enter into his heavenly kingdom.

I personally do believe in miracles and in what the Bible said about Jonah. But...
I don't know why the WTBTS thinks they need to prove biblical points by drumming up falsities, modifying scripture and taking things out of context. It's ridiculous how far they will go to prove a point instead of just letting the Bible speak for itself and simply allowing people to decide for themselves whether they believe it on it's own merit.
I mean if God created the heavens, the earth and all of mankind, etc. he could certainly have kept a guy alive in the belly of a whale. C'mon now. Why does the Society feel they need to come up with a real world experience to help the Bible out rather than just believing in what it says?
