whats the worst thing youve done during a meeting?
years ago, when i was a bit more wicked/naughty/younger than i am now, i thought i would take some drugs just prior to the meeting to see if it would make things any more interesting.
it didnt, but at least i enjoyed the kingdom melodies tapping my foot to the beat and bopping my head!!
Nothing too exciting or bad:
My friends and I would sit together and "deface" our watchtowers with notes back and forth to eachother....hey, it made the time go by faster. Sometimes though, we would get in laughing fits and need to excuse ourselves to the bathroom
my mom called last night to tell me he passed on sunday.
he died peacefully and fairly painlessly.
my mom said she was talking with him, went to answer the phone, and 5 minutes later he was gone.

some years ago my brother was disfellowshipped.
not for apostasy, but for more mundane reasons.
he has not had the internet, he has not studied the bible much since being disfellowshipped, he has been feeling guilty and considering returning for the last six months.. i had no way of contacting him, having lost touch in the midst of his many moves.
What good news Auld Soul, how relieved you must be! May you have a great time reuniting with him.

I understand what you mean too.... I guess in THIS situation I feel I should be stronger, because when I allow "them" to get to me, I feel like doing mean horrible things, and that is out of character for me! LOL!
In other aspects of life, it's different and I can control myself more and make the best of it or turn the situation into something good!
