I ran my first 10K today.
by Princess ini started running in april of this year.
i decided i wanted to run the 5k in the race for the cure (breast cancer) in june.
i loved it and was able to run faster than i expected, about 28 minutes.

I used to do a lot of running a couple years ago. Never ran a marathon, or timed myself though. It was just a great mental and physical relief, esp when I was pissed off.

by xploration ini'm not a jw but my girlfriend has been brought up with this faith and is unsure on the decsions she has tomake concerning out relationship.
we are madly in love and i can honestly say i could spend the rest of my life with her but i will be going to med school in about 18 months so marriage is not a valid option.
we have an active sexlife, but do not participate in full intercourse.

I'M GETTIN' NERVOUS!
by Mary inmy surgery (hysterectomy) is scheduled for this friday and i'm getting really nervous.........nervous that the cancer may have spread, nervous about the pain, nervous about what i'm going to go through mentally, physically and emotionally afterwards (i guess i'll be going through the change of life real quick).
i've done pretty good so far: am trying to keep positive, eating right, exercising (i've lost 15 lbs!
), meditating, and i'm going on tuesday to someone who does reiki (i think that's how you spell it).

Mary--I just had an emergency laparoscopy last wednesday. Which I must admit was not alot of fun, I'm out of work for a couple wks, and the doctor gave me really strong pain medication. I'm really really sore, regardless of the med's. But I have a wonderful person taking very good care of me.
I worried myself crazy, even tried to escape from the hospital twice--hooked up to the IV, in one of those infamous opened in the back robes, in the middle of the night in a rain storm. I didn't get far.
