Happydad,
Thanks for taking time out to keep us up on your family's situation, in spite of what you must be going through in the midst of it all. Will continue to keep all of you in prayer.

got a phone call from my daughter who lives in florida a couple of hours ago.
her significant other who i chose to call my son-in-law (because he is the best thing to ever happen to her) got a phone call that his 6 year old daughter was killed in an auto accident near lake placid, florida and his 5 year old son is in very critical condition.
the ex wife is also critical.

I found it difficult to read your post without tearing. I'm very sorry to learn of your family's tragic loss of the child and suffering of uncertainty regarding the other family members injured in the accident.
My heartfelt sympathy and prayers are with/for you and yours.

everyone, hadenuf is out of surgery.
mumsy had knee replacement.
from what i know she is in alot of pain.
(((((((((( Hadenuf ))))))))))
My aunt had the same surgery back in Jan. She needed the assistance of family initially, but she was soon operating on her own (too soon for us). She felt the pains of her actions more than a few times. She has been getting around quite fine for a while now. You just take it easy. Rest, relax, & enjoy this time of recovery and healing. Don't try to do too much too soon beyond your doctor's recommendation. Before you know it you'll be back on your feet moving with ease and painfree.

it seems that this year is flying by.
here it is thursday again and time for our weekly vigil for outnfree.
please send your good thoughts, positive vibes and prayers tonight starting at 8:00 central (9:00 eastern, 7:00 mountain, 6:00 pacific) to brenda ryan (outnfree's real name) in the detroit, mi metro area.
I'll be here at the set time.
Sally, how are you feeling today? Are you resting well? If it's uncomfortable to sleep on your side, I remember my mom made use of a body pillow.
i don't have much time but... .
i met with the elders, and they restored all my priviledges!!!!.
haha!!!
RR,
Would you be accepting congrats? You really put one over on them. Your picture was totally unexpected and too funny.ROFLMAO
a few months ago my dr. put me on wellbutrin to help with angziety and depression.
she told me some side effects would be strange dreams and ensomnia.. well... here i am posting about strange dreams at 3:30 am .
what makes these new dreams really stand out is that they are very very long dreams that seem to last forever.
(((((((((( Elsewhere )))))))))),
I can relate to what you are going thru. I don't usually recall my dreams. However, while taking Deprakote-ER I also have dreams that replay specific themes relating to issues that I am dealing with. These dreams seem real and go on for what seems like forever. They don't keep me from wanting to sleep or returning to sleep. If I happen to wake up in the middle of such a dream, I am usually able to fall back into it.
Have you shared this information with your doctor? If it is disturbing your rest/sleeping that much perhaps there is a need for a change of some kind in your medication. Is this the only side effect you are experiencing?
if you receive an email entitled "bedtimes"
delete it immediately.
do not open it .
Well I'll be ...! LMAO
hey, lets call a spade a spade.
came across this while doing some bible reading with the wife.
she's pointing out to me as i'm doing my #2 talk to her in job 41, gods having to tell job where to get off one day on account of his self righteousness, and shes saying to me, " that's a dragon, he's describing a dragon !!!
Hummm! Very interesting.
(((((((((( Dimples ))))))))))
May God be with you covering and protecting you from harm. May He guide the surgeons hands skillfully and may all others on staff be on point. I'm praying you have a full and speedy recovery.
God Bless~

i just recently started having b-days in the past couple of years for my kids.
they were a flop!i didn't know when to bring the cake out.. when to sing "happy b-day" or anything.
i felt like an idiot!only 3 kids showed up and no one elsed called to even say they weren't coming.
From one who has never been a JW ~
Depending on the age of your child and the season of his/her birth there are a wide variety of birthday parties you can have :
Indoor- at home, a hotel suite( access to swimming ,bring in own food or order, definitely have a cake, sleepover with other adult supervision /assistance) , Mickey D's*, Burger King*, Chucky Cheese's*, bowliig alley, roller skating rink(?), museum* ( we have a Please Touch Museum for kids)
Outdoor- your yard, the park near playground equipment, zoo*
* These places usually have a set time and plan for parties that you pay for and follow which makes it alot easier.
In general, you and/or your child pick out a theme. Purchase invitations representing that theme. Send them out to those you deem with an R.S.V.P. (a date set aside by when you want others to let you know whether or not they will be attending) approx. a week or two ahead of the party date. Make a call to those you do not hear from to get something definitive. This gives you time to inform caterers, make adjustments with special party places*, see what you may need to provide for your expected guests in the way of party favors, treats, prizes for game winners, food quantity, cake size, seating availability, etc.
Decorating for parties can be fun especially if you have friends/family to help. Go with your theme and match it with color in your balloons. crepe paper streamers, banners, paper or plastic plates, plastic cups, forks&spoons, tablecover, napkins, etc.
Plan for a period of age appropriate actitities/games- Pin the Tail On the Donkey. musical chairs, Twister, dance contests, make & take,
Sticker label name tags are good if the guests are not from just a single circle of your child's acquaintances.
Time to eat- hotdogs ,hamburgers, pizza, chicken nuggets/fingers/pieces, chips, pretzels, veggie tray, fruit tray, whatever...
Show a movie, have a story teller, magician, clown, pony rides, music & dancing. Have fun use your imagination.
Gather together to sing "Happy Birthday",blow out candles, cut cake, issue slices with or without ice cream
Open presents
Thankyou and goodbye ~" The party's over..." ~ It was good to see you ~ So glad you came... ~
Perhaps you'll have a few designated friends/family to assist in the cleanup
Look at about 3 to 4 hours.
Don't forget to send out thankyou notes to your guests for gifts received and/or their participation in your celebration. Your child may enjoy having a hand in this.
P.S. There are books you can purchase or get from the library on party planning. I'm sure you can probably Google the information also.
(PHew this took longer than I anticipated. I'll have to get back to you on the topic about Christmas.)
